Some street photographs taken near a bridge in Arras. I don't like to include cars in my street images but here I was immediately hooked on the orange of the bodywork that suits with the bricks. I waited for a few silhouettes in this not very busy street, and finally I took these pictures with the Fujifilm X-T2. 😊

A few improvised street portraits with Clémence in front of the University of Artois in Arras. These photos are already a few months old, not knowing how to integrate them into my Instagram feed. Indeed, they are more colorful than what I am used to show here! 😊

These images were taken with the Fujifilm X-T2 and the XF 35/1.4, a combination that I love for street portraits!

Huge thanks to Clémence for her kindness and patience! 😃

Here is a street photo taken at the Arras train station with my trusty Fujifilm X-T2. I was walking along the platforms, looking for an image to take through the windows of a train. Initially I found the background too difficult to read, then the second person passed, completing the silhouette I was framing. 🙂

Here is a night street photograph taken in Arras with my "old" Fujifilm X100t. For once I wasn't really spotting. I noticed this cyclist who was speeding in the night and I shot. I like the little motion blur on the bike due to the rather low speed set on my camera. What about you? 🙂

Here is a street photo taken in Arras. I waited for a while with my Fujifilm X100VI in front of this classic façade with red shutters, hoping for the passage of a pedestrian dressed in red. Finally this lady dressed in a black dress passed, which is also a good match in my opinion. 😉

Black and white or color?
This is a street photo taken at the beginning of July at the Arras train station.
Personally, I find this building very ugly, but it offers interesting possibilities with the shadow play. Anyway, I really like the graphics that the light creates with these lines... 😉 By the way, don't you think that it's rarely the most beautiful places that look good in street photography? That's what it seems to me in Arras. 😁
I spotted a bit with my Fujifilm X100VI because the scene was often too busy. Then this lady appeared in the frame... 📷

Some improvised street portraits with Naël. The light was already harsh but I like the street atmosphere with this warm color palette and the strong contrast which, in my opinion, go well with the model of the day. 😉

These images were taken in Arras with the Fujifilm X-T2 and the XF 35/1.4, a perfect combination for street portraits! The relatively short focal length allows a connection with the subject.
