It’s October, baby! Less than a week away from my wedding. The air is cool and crisp. The aroma of apples and pumpkins are everywhere and Halloween is around the corner. Best time of the year. 🖤 I made boo baskets last year with friends and family. My future sister-in-law bought me a @stanley1913_brand tumbler from their Halloween collection and I was obsessed. Last night, I had the pleasure of attending The Future of K-Beauty Event at @hausofk.live hosted by @doctorlanna . The event included a panel of other experts in the industry and had a lot of interesting conversations. What I found most fascinating was the discussion around how the shift in end results people came in asking for has changed from looking like a celebrity to an enhanced version of themselves. This comes with the rise of Chat GPT and AI modifying someone’s picture, showing them a glimpse into what cosmetic procedures could enhance for them. We then got the chance to hear from K-Beauty brand reps explaining the science behind and the results their products deliver. It was nice to be able to test out products after the panel and talk directly to the K-Beauty brands. Overall, the event was thought provoking and well put together. You may have noticed by now, I have a particular affinity for all shades of purple.
