Skylar Belle Vernon Class of 27

Three sports, First Chair Flute, National Honor Society, community service, AND somehow still making time for friends and family… this girl does it all.

Skylar is a varsity athlete in soccer, basketball, and track & field, including qualifying for WPIAL competition in track. Whether she’s on the field, court, track, or in rehearsal, she brings the same dedication and determination to everything she takes on.

After graduation, Skylar is headed to the University of Pittsburgh to study Public Health, with plans to continue on to medical school and pursue a career in healthcare.

Lyla - Hempfield class of 2027

Lyla is a senior at Hempfield Area High Schook, where she’s involved in soccer and track. She’s all about spending time with her friends and family, being outdoors, and traveling!

After graduation, she plans to pursue a career as an ultrasound technician.

Since they were little, she’s been there for the bows, the endless practices, the early mornings, the late nights, the hair, the makeup, the uniforms, the drama, the stunts, the technique, the endless Starbucks runs… and all the moments in between.

She’s watched her girl learn to smile, sparkle and shine even when she was tired, nervous or scared. She’s watched her become stronger, braver, more confident and more determined with every season.

Because cheer isn’t just about the smile you see on the sidelines. These girls are athletes. They work for every stunt, every jump, every motion and every routine. They learn to trust the girls beside them, to catch each other when they fall and to keep going when things don’t go as planned.

They are the energy of the crowd, the heartbeat of the sidelines and the backbone of their team through the wins, the losses, the celebrations and the hard days.

And through every single one of those moments, Mom has been there.

She’s driven them to practice. Fixed the bows. Packed the bags. Calmed the nerves. Celebrated the wins. Dried the tears. And somehow always knew when they needed a little reminder that they could do hard things.

Now they’re seniors, and Mom gets to stand beside the girl she’s watched grow from a little cheerleader into an incredible young woman.

The bows may be bigger. The stunts may be higher. The routines may be harder.

But to Mom?

Ella - Belle Vernon Class of 2027

Ella is a future physician in the making! After graduation, she’s headed down the pre-med path with big plans to make an impact in women’s health.

When she’s not studying, you’ll probably find her on a long run, spending time with her family, volunteering, or catching a new movie. And if it’s pink, floral, or covered in glitter… she’s probably into it.

Payton - Belle Vernon Class of 2027

Meet Payton! A BVA senior who has been playing soccer and basketball since she was four, so basically sports have been part of the personality package from day one.

When she’s not on the court or field, you’ll probably find her shopping, playing guitar, making an iced latte, or hanging with her friends

After graduation, Payton plans to head to college and pursue her goal of becoming a physician assistant!

Saylor Belle Vernon Class of ‘27

Meet Saylor, a BVA senior who plays both basketball and soccer, including club soccer with Victory. She hopes to continue playing soccer in college!

When she’s not on the field or court, she’s probably hanging with her friends or living her best boat life and soaking up the sunshine!

College plans may still be TBD, but we already know this girl is going places.

Alaina - Belle Vernon Class of ‘27

Meet Alaina! A Belle Vernon senior who somehow manages to balance varsity cheer, competition cheer, and All Star cheer at RNR!

When she’s not cheering, you’ll find Alaina shopping, spending time with her friends and family, or soaking up all the fun that senior year has to offer.

She may not have her post-graduation plans completely figured out just yet, but she knows she wants to continue her education and see where the next chapter takes her. And honestly, sometimes the best adventures start without knowing exactly where you’re headed.

Lexi - Elizabeth Forward Class of 2027

Her name is Alexia, but she is most definitely a Lexi! She’s been doing competitive cheer for 10 years, so she knows all about hard work, dedication, teamwork, and probably having approximately 47 different things going on at once.

Lexi is one of those girls who may be a little shy and take a minute to warm up. She’s not necessarily going to walk into a room and immediately be the loudest one there… but give her a little time, let her decide you’re one of her people, and that sweet personality starts to shine. She’s genuine, kind, a little quirky, and so much fun once you get to know her.

When she’s not cheering, you’ll find her outside, spending time with her favorite people and making memories. After high school, she plans to pursue Radiologic Technology and start her journey into healthcare.

I’m so excited to have Lexi on this team and watch her make new friendships, step outside her comfort zone, and create all the memories that come with senior year. Something tells me there are going to be plenty of laughs along the way. by @posingtimephotography

Behind every boy of fall is a mom who has been there for it all.

She’s washed the uniforms, packed the snacks, made the dinners that were way too early or way too late, and somehow kept the refrigerator stocked for a bottomless pit disguised as a teenage boy.

She’s spent countless hours driving to practices, games, camps and tournaments, where she heard all the stories. She’s cheered from the stands in every type of weather, celebrated the big wins, helped mend the bumps and bruises, and been there through the losses that hurt a little more than they expected.

Through every high and every low, every touchdown and every tough night, Mom has been their number one fan. Not just in the stands, but in every part of the journey.

And now, somehow, these boys of fall are seniors.

The game will end. The uniforms will eventually get retired. The late-night food runs and Friday night lights will become memories.

But the love that got them here? That never graduates.

Allie - Frazier Class of 27

Allie is a Frazier senior who keeps busy both on and off the volleyball court! She plays volleyball for both her school and a club team, works at a local pizza shop in Perry, and somehow still finds time for her friends, family and her pets.

After high school, Allie plans to attend Washington & Jefferson College, where she hopes to continue playing volleyball. From there, she has her sights set on med school and becoming a physician!

She’s excited to be part of the Posing Time Photography Senior Team, meet all the girls, and make some memories along the way. And if you need the soundtrack for all of it, you can bet it’ll be country music.

These girls come from different area schools, but they’re all here for the same thing: making the most of senior year and having a LOT of fun along the way.
