I’ll start. Mine was: A good job is all you need. For a while I believed it. I climbed up the corporate ladder thinking that the higher salary was the finish line, but It wasn’t. It was the starting line. It wasn’t until I invested my money in income producing assets (ie real estate and paper assets) my net worth grew. What’s a money belief you no longer believe? We’ve been taught to focus almost exclusively on debt elimination… but debt reduction alone does not create wealth.

Wealth is built through assets and equity.

Now let me be clear, paying off debt matters. Reducing high-interest debt lowers risk, increases cash flow, and creates financial stability. But if your entire financial strategy stops there, you may unintentionally delay wealth building for years.

Why? Because while you’re only focused on paying everything off, time is passing and time is one of the greatest wealth building tools we have.

Money invested into assets has the ability to compound, appreciate, and generate income without requiring you to constantly trade your time for money.

The goal is not just to become debt-free.
The goal is to become financially free.

That means learning how to:
• Eliminate destructive debt
• Increase cash flow
• Acquire assets
• Build equity
• Make your money work for you

Debt management is part of the equation.
Asset ownership is what changes your future. by @positionedforwealth

It’s by design.

It’s called the Income to Wealth gap and there are several reasons as to why we end of up this.

One thing I want to note, is that you DON’T have to actually save and invest how much you earn but when you gradually increase how much you allocate to assets, it’s starts working for you faster than you can work to earn it.

The main problem is we don’t start with wealth in mind.

We have been trained to focus on near term spending… the new clothes, new car, new apartment, furnishing, etc. all of these are fine BUT, when it leaves you with nothing to allocate to your wealth that is where the gap widens.

It is not until to the mid to late 30s that we realize this is happened.

My goal is to address this earlier and close it for those who have woken up. by @positionedforwealth

When you finally get serious about changing your financial situation whether that be stop living paycheck to paycheck (me), paying off debt (also me🤪), and start building wealth through investing (šŸ‘†šŸ½me), the first step is to take accountability of the current situation. Seeking reasons outside ourselves puts us in a losing and powerless position. While there maybe several reasons why we got there, the point is I was responsible for getting there and getting out. Accountability isn’t talked about often enough but it is the secret sauce to leveling up. by @positionedforwealth
