Is this thing on…?

@positivelystatestreet founding fathers @maxtonhunter & @roberto_johnson here with a quick check in.

Remember that party we threw back in May? Somethin’ bout a guy named Dylan. Safe to say that went really well. Might even call it pretty freaking epic.

Good news is we’re gonna do it again. This fall with all of our friends. Some new faces, plenty of familiar ones too. Singing more songs we all know and love.

On Saturday, November 7th, we’ll be back at @sohosb to celebrate Joni Mitchell’s birthday with a Laurel Canyon tribute night. That’s right. Straight down the middle — or maybe the left, as in the West Coast. Peace, love and long-haired anthems from 60s and 70s Los Angeles, performed by another all-star ensemble. More details on that soon.

In the meantime, we got tons of footage from Dylan night that we’re really excited to share. Keep your eyes peeled. The revue rolls 🔛 taken in Santa Barbara, California by @positivelystatestreet

Still feeling pretty positive about the @positivelystatestreet Bob Dylan birthday tribute show @sohosb ten outta ten, would do again 🌹

@maxtonhunter and @roberto_johnson did a truly stellar job putting this all together and hosting, along with setting up little disposable cameras everywhere 📸

Getting ready for some gigs this weekend, Friday night playing a trio set @notowntavern in “Noleta” with @thesteadybadluckers @carlperryphoto @singhoutloudstudio Music from 8-11pm ⚡️

Sunday playing a mellow solo set @coquelicot_wines in Los Olivos, from 2-5pm ⚡️

I’ve also got something in the works that I’ll tell you more about tomorrow, stay tuned and wishing well xoxo

Much love @sbindependent ✍🏻🗞️

“For an artist who’s always recreating himself in every note, I have to think that #BobDylan would tip his hat to this tour de force of young artists proving that no matter our age, we’re always “busy being born.”
