We’re happy to announce that @p00lgrl will be joining @sportsband as a special guest at their Berlin show on November 2 at SO36 ✨ Pool Girl is the solo project of Carpinteria, California-native artist and producer Allie Nixon. Raised on her dad’s Beatles and Beach Boys records, she later found her own sound through 2010s icons like Passion Pit, MGMT, Gorillaz, Beach House, and Tame Impala. During the 2020 lockdown, she taught herself to produce at home, later adding DJing to sharpen her sense of rhythm, texture, and tension. Written between California and France, her debut album Melancholic Beach Town (out September 18, 2026) is a bittersweet love story to Carpinteria woven from patient basslines, drifting synths, and surf-tinged guitars. Entirely written and co-produced by Nixon, it follows her debut EP Trophy Wife (3M+ streams, Fresh Finds, Lorem, Ones To Watch, Wonderland, COLORS). 🎟️ Tickets available via DICE by @positivetransmitter
Crunch Tapes, Positive Transmitter & 8MM present: Sunset Images (MX / Dedstrange) | @sunset__images 🗓️ Tuesday, 3 November 2026, 20:00 📍8MM Bar (Schönhauser Allee 177B, 10119 Berlin) In the depths of Mexico City, a maelstrom of sound has been brewing, Sunset Images, a sonic entity - fueled by the unyielding passion of Samuel Osorio - has transcended the influences of krautrock, shoegaze, and punk into a layered soundscape of dissonance, cathartic release, and emotional depth. With a growing reputation for their intense live performances, Sunset Images has shared stages with notable bands, toured extensively across multiple continents and released a series of EPs and a LP that confront violence, racism and misogyny, and has dealt with subjects like loneliness, anger and desperation. This journey has lead them into their highly anticipated debut with Dedstrange, the label founded by none other than the mastermind behind A Place To Bury Strangers and the FX pedal company Death by Audio, Oliver Ackermann, who sought out and brought them into the Dedstrange tribe of sonic outcasts, where Sunset Images has found the perfect home. Their new album, “Oscilador”, released on January 23, 2026, is a sonic resistance manifesto that embodies the perpetual cycle of birth, decay, chaos, and resolution that rules our world. Fractured synths, pulsating vocals, primitive drum beats, and feedback-drenched guitars collide, creating an aural landscape that’s both disorienting and irresistible – brutal, raw, and honest, yet accessible, chaotic, and beautiful, like the world itself. 🎟️ Tickets available via DICE & Eventim.Light by @positivetransmitter

Positive Transmitter & Crunch Tapes present: Elephant Stone • Sacred Buzz • double album release show 12 November 2026 Neue Zukunft, Berlin Doors: 19:00, Show: 20:00 Tickets on sale via DICE At the center of Montreal’s Elephant Stone is Rishi Dhir, a songwriter and sitarist who has spent twenty years blurring the lines between Western psych-pop and Indian classical tradition. What began in 2006 as a quest for transcendental sound has evolved into a singular, self-contained vision. Operating out of his Montreal home studio, Sacred Sound, Dhir has emerged as a true studio auteur—producing, engineering, and mixing the band’s increasingly complex and cinematic output. While the band’s reputation was built on airtight pop craftsmanship and spiritual exploration, their recent work—anchored by longtime members Miles Dupire, Robbie MacArthur, and Jason Kent—possesses a new, raw intensity. It is a sound forged through Dhir’s deep collaborative history with icons like The Black Angels, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Beck, as well as his role in the psych-supergroup MIEN. With a discography spanning 10 acclaimed releases, Elephant Stone remains at the forefront of the modern movement, constantly deconstructing the past to find something visceral, haunting, and undeniably human in the present. * * * Berlin’s psychedelic outfit Sacred Buzz will present their debut self-titled album, out October 9 on Sound Effect Records. Showcasing their turn to a more expansive sound and exploration of new ideas and spaces, the band will unleash the full force of their fuzz-drenched, groove-locked dimensions. Sacred Buzz's self-titled debut LP explores the nature of reality through sci-fi and philosophical ideas, woven together with cinematic twists and vivid imagery. Surreal lyrics emerge from an echoing voice, keeping you suspended while the locked-in krautrock groove of bass and drums anchors your body to the earth. Raw, reverberating guitars laced with fuzz paint intricate patterns across the mind, while droning organ textures provide an underlying ambience that completes Sacred Buzz's sonic palette. Positive Transmitter & Crunch Tapes present: The Great Marton Conspiracy (Hungary) & Abanamat Neue Zukunft, Berlin 13 November 2026 Doors: 19:00, Show: 20:00 Tickets available via DICE: link in bio Back in 2024 four musician called Marton formed a band to begin their interdimensional pilgrimage. Their sound came from ancient pyramids and desert caravans - from the fusion jazz of 70s ’till the stoner grooves of the millenium. Their first EP, Gathering Axis, was released in 2025, and a year after they are dropping the bands first LP “Reincarnation of a moment” in 2026 november. What follows is pure, unfiltered sonic exploration. This record captures the exact tension between tightly wound funk fusion and the heavy, hypnotic repetition of desert rock. It doesn't just transition between tracks - it pulls you through different eras of heavy groove, making the listener lose track of time entirely. If you want music that feels alive, unpredictable, and deeply rooted in rhythmic trance, this release is your gateway. Abanamat’s music propels you through space and time at light speed - while standing perfectly still. It’s heavy yet ethereal, intense yet serene. Based in Berlin, this genre-defying quartet brings together musicians from different counties, creating a rich cultural fusion that shapes their distinctive atmospheric sound. Their compositions blend jazzy chord progressions and Afrobeat-inspired rhythms with crushing riffs and soaring solos, crafting a sonic experience that is as heady as it is hard-hitting. Abanamat delivers a sound that speaks to the soul while shaking the ground beneath your feet - pure ecstasy for any headbanger. Mind-blowing art by @fragilehopeart by @positivetransmitter
Positive Transmitter x Crunch Tapes x Bureau B present: Die Wilde Jagd (Live) special guest: Love-Songs Neue Zukunft, Berlin 12 December 2026 Doors: 19:00, Show: 20:00 Tickets available via DICE: link in bio Founded by producer and composer Sebastian Lee Philipp, Die Wilde Jagd stands as one of the most distinctive projects emerging from Germany’s contemporary experimental and psychedelic music landscape. Moving fluidly between avant-pop, electronic composition, and kraut-inspired minimalism, the project creates sound worlds filled with drama, mysticism, and ecstasy. Praised internationally for their singular German lyricism, Die Wilde Jagd has toured extensively across more than 20 countries and performed at major festivals and institutions worldwide, including Sónar, Fusion Festival, and Berlin's own HAU Hebbel am Ufer. Crunch Tapes & Positive Transmitter present: ROME & Of The Wand And The Moon Passionskirche, Berlin 19 March 2027 Doors: 19:00 Tickets on sale now: link in bio ROME & OF THE WAND AND THE MOON “Our lady of the legion” European tour 2027. ROME will be rewilding the sacred in hallowed spaces and special venues across Europe in the spring of 2027. A unique concert experience awaits: ROME and OF THE WAND AND THE MOON set out on an exclusive European tour through churches, chapels, cloisters, castles, and other historic sites – from London to Milan, from Prague to Krakow, from Berlin to Rome. As demonstrated in its vast back-catalogue of concept albums, Luxembourg's ROME as an artistic entity has always been interested in matters of History, philosophy, spiritual quest, and faith. ROME has studied existential and historical conflicts, but also expressed the sacred through various lenses. It is this complex intersection of profound spiritual expression, personal struggle and the transcendent, that ROME has navigated since its inception. As a project deeply connected with our common European heritage, it is an almost inevitable enterprise to bring this work to places of worship around Europe. ROME, the musical project of Jerome Reuter, presents an exclusive solo set comprised of material from the latest twin albums “The Tower” and “The Hierophant”, alongside a selection of early works rarely or never performed live. Stripped to their rawest essentials, these songs present a radically minimalist folk approach – a spiritual travelogue of magical splendour, introspective longing, and the timeless tension between faith and doubt, tailored perfectly to the unique settings of this tour. Opening the evening is an exclusive solo performance by Kim Larsen as OF THE WAND AND THE MOON. Known for his distinctive world of melancholy, intimacy, and twilight, Larsen has increasingly drawn on the influence of singer-songwriters of the 1960s and 1970s, including Lee Hazlewood, Leonard Cohen, and Serge Gainsbourg. His exclusive set will offer a broad cross-section of his artistic periods. Join us in song in Europe’s houses of the Holy. by @positivetransmitter
Crunch Tapes & Positive Transmitter present: ÅRABROT + INTERCOURSE live at Neue Zukunft, Berlin Wednesday, 18 November 2026, 20:00 • @arabrot Kjetil Nernes is a survivor. He is, for all intents and purposes, the Norwegian rock band Årabrot, who formed in Haugesund in 2001. After stalking the blackened, grimey European noise rock underground for years, a rupturing change came in the form of serious illness in 2014. After contracting a rare and aggressive form of cancer, he nearly died; but the lengthy, painful experience of treatment and recovery gave him the time and space to reconsider his entire life… including his artistic practice. Speaking from the deconsecrated church in Djura, Sweden, where he lives with his wife, the musician Karin Park and their young daughter, he describes how the illness changed everything: “I struggled out of that period of extreme sickness by writing the last album The Gospel (2016). It was like a big explosion. Because after an explosion you have silence. And in the silence you realise that everything has changed. In that silence, the new record was written.” After some years The band is up to share their new vibes to the European market. • @intercoursenoise Connecticut’s self deprecating, noise rock entity, Intercourse, unleash their crushing fourth full-length LP. Produced by Chris Teti (The World Is A Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid To Die). 🎟️ Tickets available via DICE by @positivetransmitter
