I just realized that last week was my 30th anniversary of moving to Toronto from Vancouver. I left there in August of 1996 to attend UofT. I had not prepared in any particular way in any logistic sense, and only had a vague notion of what I was doing. I remember how refreshing it was to come to a place where I didn’t know a single person, I barely even talked for a week. In hindsight Toronto was pretty good to me back then, I made friends quickly and even started to get that vague notion of what I could do in this life. Thanks to all those early pals :) and alllll the ones since then ❤️ by @post.cello

big miigwech to @amazonmusiccan for supporting this weird pop record, I gave ppl a pop record without selling your soul to make mediocre soulless pop music. I tried to fuze the moccasingaze /w pop and a tad of mind extortion lol. JULY 11th I’ll be at @osler.records w/ @mothertonguesband playing some tunes maybe this one on acoustic guitar by myself. Back with my old Zoon (society band @sunnsetter & @post.cello ) some classic songs from bleached wavves, maybe some new ones too. Join us JULY 11th @osler.records #moccasingaze #toronto #sonicyouth #billboard taken in Osler Records by @post.cello

Survived a tornado last night on the Rez. Thunder went crashing with bells of bolt. I just sat w/ Mother Earth & listened to the frogs & wild coyotes scream into the night. I wondered what it might be like for them, then I grabbed the guitar and improvised. July 11th I’ll be performing at @osler.records w/ @mothertonguesband @post.cello @sunnsetter @sonicunyonmgmt , ‘ HAPPY THOUGHT SCHOOL’ come if you like sounds of @sonicyouth_official & ambient sounds like @laraaji_official , then so many ideas. 💡

New Music out today! "Collapsing" a track discovered in the MPO vaults covered in Raiders of the lost Arc level cobwebs. Its a little different when what you may be used to from me. 🙂

Cowritten with the overly talented @fatslabb , this track features the string slinging stylings of @aisslinnviolin @k.kajioka and Peter Seminovs. Cobwebs removed and mastered by @dtraverssmith

Exclusively available on the new collective co-op music platform @subvertworld Go have a listen and if you join you own a part of the site, which means it can't be sold to big tech. Not bad huh? Going to be another new song hitting Subvert soon so stay tuned! (link in le bio) by @post.cello

Surprise! Ive got a new track coming out tomorrow! Its going to be an exclusive for the new collectively owned music platform @subvertworld till further notice so you actually have to go there to hear it. The new track is called "Collapsing" and it's a little different than what you're probably used to hearing from me. Co-written with me by the fantastically talented @fatslabb and featuring the string slinging talents of my OG pals @k.kajioka @aisslinnviolin and Peter Seminovs and of course the solid gold sheen of @dtraverssmith mastering. Im hard at work putting a new record together but its nice to be able to have something to offer y'all and your ears. ❤️ link in my bio for tomorrow when subvert launches. 🚀 by @post.cello

Finished Toronto Game Jam with this amazing team!

It was such a pleasure working with everyone
I’m really proud of what we created together, and we’ll most likely keep polishing the game after the jam because we all feel like this project has a lot of potential.

Huge thanks to my teammates ✨Vale✨Michael✨and Darius✨

Really grateful for this experience, and excited to see where we take the project next.

Today number one of my new ECello Moment video series. (LINK in BIO) Though it will be a guide for the modern cellist (or non classical string-er) to gear and music tech, I am starting with something a little bit more universal to the average independent musician. A two part: Navigating making vinyl and how to check those test pressings that you get (and no one seems to know what to do with) It will be a guide for most any musician but if you are also a savvy audio engineer there will be a few handy tricks you might not have thought of (esp in part two) Drops at 2pm EST today. Swing me a follow and a spin so You Tube thinks im a real person. 🤖 taken in Toronto, Ontario by @post.cello
