This isn’t the ending we were hoping for, but we couldn’t be more proud of this team. ❤️💙

What a special season it has been—from unforgettable wins and earning the Division Championship to representing Post 285 at the Illinois American Legion State Tournament. This group fought until the very last out and left everything they had on the field.

To our players, coaches, families, and every fan who cheered us on all summer long—thank you. Thank you for the memories, the excitement, and for making this season one we’ll never forget.

It’s never easy saying goodbye.

Once 285, always 285. ❤️⚾️ by @post285baseball
