Switzerland has its fair share of beautiful lakes, but Blausee feels almost too pretty to be real 🩵🌿 You don’t even have to hike to get here! This small, crystal clear alpine lake is tucked inside a 20-hectare nature park in the Bernese Oberland. Zermatt feels like everything you imagine Switzerland to be — breathtaking views, alpine trails, scenic train rides, wooden chalets and that sense of utter calm you only find in the mountains 😌🌿 🔖 Here’s everything I’d like to know before visiting Zermatt: 🚞 Getting here: Zermatt is car-free, so you will arrive here by Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn. You can explore the village on foot, and move around by free E-bus. Or hire an E-taxi or even a horse-drawn carriage, if your wallet allows 🚗 If you have a car, you’ll leave it at the designated parking hub in Täsch and take the 12-minute shuttle train to Zermatt 
🏔️ Matterhorn Views: Take the Gornergrat Railway for one of the most iconic panoramas of the Matterhorn and surrounding Alps. Don’t miss Riffelsee Lake for the famous glass-like reflection of the Matterhorn 
🚠 Go higher: Matterhorn Glacier Paradise takes you up to nearly 3,900m for spectacular glacier and mountain views 
🥾 Best way to explore: Walk the alpine trails — especially around Gornergrat and the Five Lakes area 🫕 After a long day on the trails, reward yourself the Swiss way — think bubbling fondue, gooey raclette or a crispy rösti topped with melted cheese

If I had to pick just one Spanish coast for summer, it would be the Costa del Sol 🌺🌊 Picture getting lost in those sun-drenched streets overflowing with classic Andalusian flower pots. Bougainvillea spills down whitewashed walls in a riot of colour. The Mediterranean glitters beside the palm-lined promenades. Afternoons are meant for long lunches and golden beaches. Evenings are all about watching the sun melt into the sea.
