monaco - the level of wealth here is wild to see!!! 🇲🇨

I’d recommend a visit for a big fat nosy at how the other half live, but half a day was more than enough for us before catching the train to Menton for the afternoon ⭐️

èze - the fairytale village of dreams!! ✨

we loved wandering through the cobbled streets, discovering hidden corners, and taking our time soaking up the incredible views!

our biggest tip? Get there first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive… it’s so much more peaceful, and you’ll have time to explore without feeling rushed!!

we took a taxi from Nice, but there are buses too! Just avoid getting the train - the station is at the bottom of the hill, nowhere near the village itself! 💛

Antibes was easily the highlight of our South of France trip 🇫🇷✨

We completely fell in love with this charming port town, from its colourful market to the most beautiful coastal walk!!!

And of course... a galette is always a must in France 🥞 We couldn’t recommend @lesfillesdumicocoulier enough ⭐️

Save this for your South of France trip 🇫🇷

We hopped on the train to Villefranche-sur-Mer for the afternoon after spending the morning exploring Nice, and honestly, a couple of hours was the perfect amount of time!

It’s such a pretty little seaside village with colourful streets, beautiful views, and a lovely beach to relax on 🤍

That said, it’s very small! We found there weren’t loads of shops or restaurants to explore (although it could just have been the time of day we visited!)

💭 My thoughts:
If you’ve got plenty of time, it’s definitely worth stopping by for a wander and to soak up the views. But if you’re trying to fit lots into a short South of France itinerary, this is probably the one place I’d skip in favour of somewhere like Antibes or Èze!

Have you been to Villefranche-sur-Mer? I’d love to know if we missed any hidden gems! ✨

nice was the perfect base for exploring the south of france 🇫🇷

with loads of restaurants, bars, shops, beautiful architecture, and great transport links, it made exploring the French Riviera so easy!!!

that said... if we were to do it all again, we’d probably choose to stay in Antibes instead for the quieter and more relaxed feel!

If you’re deciding where to stay, we’d say:
📍 Nice for convenience and a livelier atmosphere
📍 Antibes for a slower, more picturesque escape

Save this for your South of France trip 🇫🇷

We only had 4 days in the South of France, but managed to squeeze so much in! We based ourselves in an Airbnb right in the centre of Nice, which turned out to be the perfect hub for exploring the Côte d’Azur by train 🚆🤍

📍Our itinerary:
Day 1 – Nice & Villefranche-sur-Mer
Day 2 – Antibes
Day 3 – Èze
Day 4 – Monaco & Menton

✨ Our favourite stop:
Èze - It genuinely feels like stepping into a fairytale with its winding cobbled streets and incredible views. Just make sure you get there early because it gets very busy later in the day!

🚆 Top travel tip:
We did the whole trip by train and found it so easy. The only slightly stressful part was buying tickets at Nice station, so I’d definitely recommend downloading the SNCF app before you go - it made everything so much quicker and easier!!

💭 My thoughts:
Four days gave us a great taste of the South of France, but I honestly wish we’d had longer. There are so many beautiful places to explore, and I already can’t wait to go back.

If we visited again, we’d probably stay in Antibes. It had such a relaxed feel, beautiful streets to wander around, and was somewhere we could easily imagine spending a few slower days.

📌 Save this for your South of France itinerary, and if you’ve been before, tell me where we should visit next because I’m already planning trip number two!

Save this for your Malta trip 🇲🇹

We only had 4 days in Malta, but managed to tick off almost everything on our list! If you're planning a trip, here's everything I'd recommend...

📍Don't miss:
- Valletta
- Sliema
- Mdina & Rabat
- The Three Cities
- St Julian's

🥐 Biggest foodie recommendation:
@loaf_malta - their almond croissant was genuinely the BEST I've ever had… I still think about it to this day!!!

🏨 Where to stay:
@courtyardsliema - they made my 30th birthday so special and even looked after me when I came down with a sickness bug on our last day... I couldn't recommend them more!

✨ A couple of things I'd do differently:
- Book tickets for the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum months in advance - they sell out so quickly!
- Leave a day for Gozo - we were meant to visit but I got ill on our final day, so it's definitely top of the list for next time

💭 My thoughts:
Malta completely surprised me. Beautiful architecture, amazing food and such friendly people. It's a small island, so I think 4–5 days is perfect if you're exploring the towns and cities. If you want beach clubs, boat trips or the Blue Lagoon too, I'd definitely stay a little longer!

📌 Save this for your Malta trip, and if you've been before, let me know your favourite spots in the comments! ✈️🤍
