What does it mean to be human in the age of algorithms? Algorithms are no longer just tools; they have become a pervasive infrastructure, increasingly shaping our choices, our priorities and the way we perceive reality. As we constantly feed these systems with our data and our presence, where does human agency truly stand? If machines can now optimize, predict, and recommend, we must ask how this relationship is transforming our ability to imagine the future. Posterheroes 15 — STILL HUMAN explores the blurred lines between the algorithmic and the human. We don’t want to judge technology, but to make its effects and imaginaries visible. 💬 How much can one kind gesture change? The October artwork from the Posterheroes 2026 Calendar invites us to reflect on just that. Printed in lithography with black ink on Sparto Desert 120 g/m², a paper made with esparto grass fibres, Don’t lose your kindness by Mexican artist @victorgally27 tells the story of kindness through a simple gesture: a smile. Two faces, two different expressions and two small hands that seem to reach for each other. An invitation to rediscover our smile and not let indifference and apathy distance us from solidarity and empathy. We asked the artist: “What would you like your work to inspire the viewer to reflect on?” Swipe through the carousel to discover his answer. Ogni anno @posterheroes chiama a raccolta la creatività globale per riflettere sulle grandi sfide contemporanee. Con Still Human, l’edizione di quest’anno esplora il confine tra umanità e intelligenza artificiale: un’indagine sul bilanciamento tra automazione e scelta, tra ottimizzazione e imperfezione, che non intende demonizzare la tecnologia ma metterne in luce l’impatto. Le migliaia di opere arrivate da tutto il mondo confermano la forza del design come strumento per stimolare il dibattito. Ieri abbiamo partecipato alla riapertura della scuola primaria Gian Enrico Pestalozzi, uno storico istituto nel quartiere torinese di Barriera di Milano. Al taglio del nastro erano presenti il sindaco Stefano Lo Russo, l’Assessora Carlotta Salerno, il Presidente di Circoscrizione e la direttrice dell’Ufficio Scolastico territoriale. Nelle prossime settimane, la rinnovata scuola Pestalozzi sarà il fulcro di "Un Playground per Barriera", un progetto promosso da Graphic Days® e Print Club Torino, in collaborazione con la scuola primaria e l'assessorato alle politiche educative e giovanili della città di Torino per riunire bambini, famiglie e comunità locale attraverso attività creative e momenti di partecipazione. Il progetto ha preso il via con una mostra curata dall'Associazione PLUG nel cortile della scuola, che espone una selezione di poster tratti dalle edizioni "Making Mistakes" e "Mindful or Mind Full?" del concorso Posterheroes, dedicate ai temi dell'apprendimento e all'importanza di sbagliare nel percorso di crescita. 💬 What's one small act of kindness that, in your opinion, can truly make a difference? The September illustration from the Posterheroes 2026 Calendar invites us to reflect on this question. Printed in CMYK lithography on Sparto Snow 120 g/m², paper made with esparto grass fibres, "One Small Lift" by @nikolica_____ reminds us that sometimes, a small act of support is all it takes. Two chairs, almost identical, share a single point of contact: one supports the other, which is missing a leg. A simple yet powerful metaphor for empathy, solidarity and embracing our differences. We asked the artist whether a personal experience or idea inspired this illustration. Swipe through the carousel to discover the answer.
