Tsodor’s debut on Post Hope Audio, and the label’s second release. Stripped-back, emotional minimal from Ibiza: the record opens with cicadas recorded outside his door, a cinematic interlude follows, and the title track grows from a crisp kitchen groove into fifteen minutes of strings and piano.

„Far“ closes the record. Written during a rainstorm, the kind that usually has Theo pouring a glass of red wine and just listening for hours. No heartbreak story behind this one, he insists. Just rain and melancholy, for the last hours of the night.

The second release on Post Hope Audio by @tsodormusic .Out this Friday, August 14.

The title track was written in a kitchen in Ibiza, during a free hour that was explicitly not meant for work. A friend nerding out next to him, Ableton open anyway, and for once Theo made the kind of minimal he actually goes out dancing to, not the music his clients ask for. The groove pictures a late afternoon by the water at Club der Visionaere, drink in hand. The playful blips in the percussion are sampled from a pool pump hose. And when the track was basically finished, he decided it needed to tell a bigger story: strings and piano, stretched into a fifteen-minute arc that leaves the club behind somewhere around the halfway mark.

Quiet, But Not Empty. The second release on Post Hope Audio, by @tsodormusic, out August 14.

No field recording this time, and no club groove. Track two is the moment where Theo’s first musical life steps forward. Before Ableton there was a specialist music boarding school, composition and conducting classes, piano lessons from the age of four. Interlude is his nod to that past: a cinematic piece that sets the scene before the fifteen-minute title track takes over.

QUIET, BUT NOT EMPTY - the second release on POST HOPE AUDIO. Four tracks by @tsodormusic . Out August 14.

This one started with a closed laptop. Theo was sitting outside his place in Ibiza, listening to the cicadas that soundtrack every summer there, so loud you can hardly not hear them. He opened the laptop, recorded them for a few minutes and started writing.

Later he found the old myth Socrates tells about cicadas: humans who loved music so much they sang until they died without noticing - and from them came the cicadas, given the gift of needing no food at all, and the task of reporting back to the Muses who honours which of them.

Hey friends,

The past years weren’t easy. I got lost somewhere between the noise and the expectations, between what I thought I should be doing and what I actually wanted to do.

What came out on the other side: clarity.
And a record I’m genuinely proud of.

This EP is about warmth. About the people who held me together when I couldn’t — Alisha, my family, the friends who stayed when I was at my most difficult. My brain doesn’t work in straight lines. It never has. But they believed in me when I had stopped believing in myself, and that’s something you turn into music.

So I did. No filters, no hiding — just the feeling of coming home, the way Kollektiv Turmstrasse always felt right to me.

It comes to you on a new label: Post Hope Audio.

I’m opening the door, but this house is being built for others too. The next release is already lined up, and it’s going to surprise you.

Practically: the EP is on Spotify, Apple Music, all the usual platforms. But Bandcamp is becoming my home for music — I’ll be stepping back from streaming over time. The TikTok circus, the algorithm-driven slop — I don’t want to be part of that anymore.

The deeper community space?
I’m building it quietly.
When it’s ready, I’ll bring you there.

There’s more to come.
