i feel like i haven’t really done a lot this year, but looking back it’s actually been so much that i don’t even know where to start! there is always so much love and joy in my life everywhere i look, simply because i am lucky enough to see it.

my car broke down a lot, but i think i’ve got the main problem fixed now. lost my etsy store and re-opened my own website that i fully control and operate… now have almost three times the traffic i was getting on etsy. saw a few shows, planned a couple more :) flew back to my hometown for the fair and to visit family and end some friendships. mostly, 2025 wasn’t necessarily my year but it was a lesson learning one - it may have started off bumpy but things got considerably better by the end.

all my love to every person who has supported me, loved me, or stood by my side through any of the challenges this year. i am so grateful for the life i get to live and i can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for us… i have a good feeling about this one :) #vancouverisland #vanisle #pnw #pnwlife #islandliving taken in Vancouver Island, British Columbia by @postmodernmaddie

had such an amazing time seeing the jonas brothers again last night for the first time since their 2009 tour 😭 it was honestly such a wholesome show all around, i had no idea franklin opened and he was AMAZING! like oh good didn’t know i was also in love with the fourth jonas 🙄 boys like girls were fucking incredible, the energy in that room when the love drunk intro started playing was electric.

the boys were on top of their game as always and getting to hear old favorites and new favorites was soooo special for me ❤️‍🩹

took a few days to go visit my high school hometown ❤️‍🩹 wish i could say i had a blast but unfortunately this holiday was a nightmare from the moment i got on the plane. i made the best of it but more than anything it was a great eye opener as to who my real friends are. you’d think being friends for 15+ years would mean something, but some people’s true colours came out this week.

when i was young here, my friend’s family took me in as their own and they all still live in this town so it’s always nice to get to spend some quality time together with me living so far away. i’ll be back soon but next time i’m not coming during the worst heat of the summer, i should’ve known better on that front!

life is really so beautiful when you decide to see it that way.

2024 was a crazy whirlwind of love, reconnection, and friendship. i travelled far and wide to see people i love and do things i enjoy - that’s what life is all about. so many people are focused on expecting bad things to happen that they forget to actually experience life and see all the good that exists.

i am so lucky to have the incredible friends i do that inspire me to be better every single day.

eternally grateful for everyone and everything that helped make my 2024 so beautiful.

had a phenomenal night travelling back in time to be a teenager again and see @mtrenchofficial for their home town show in vancouver 🫶 cannot believe none of them have aged a day since i last saw them in 2012, they’ve only gotten better and not only is josh still killing it with the vocals, now matt and mike are too and i am so proud!!!

an incredibly special night shared with an even more special person @autumntrav thank you for flying cross country to see me and sing with me. i love you endlessly and can’t wait for our next adventure together.

still in absolute shock and disbelief that i finally got to attend the eras tour… second to last night ever, in my home city, for $16. a complete and utter random stroke of luck. i never even tried to get tickets i felt very discouraged and knew i had no chance against the millions of other people who also wanted to go, so i was more than happy just watching grainy livestreams every night. then the vancouver shows come around and the universe drops tickets in my lap. i couldn’t be more grateful.

this was truly a once in a lifetime experience. the energy in that stadium can never be replicated and i’ll remember it forever. getting ttpd x maroon as a surprise song was so special to me, my jaw was on the fucking floor when she started singing about that typewriter.

shoutout to the mother daughter duo from utah that helped me find my way to the stadium, to @ilyssalapp for being an unreal concert buddy for the night, and to the staff on the hullo ferry who made our ride a swift sailing - hope y’all like your bracelets 😌

i truly had the time of my life fighting dragons with taylor last night and for the past 18 years. thank you for everything.
