Had the opportunity to paint a logo mural for what a lot of you may know as, “The Gathering Place”, except this time it is going to be a bistro! This building has so much history, including many drunken nights of mine back in my college days when I’d come home for the weekend or holidays - 21yo me would have never thought that 15 years later I would be painting a mural on it! I could not have done it without the help and support of my family, friends and community. Super grateful for this full circle moment in my life & career, feeling overjoyed & blessed for this opportunity. And yes, it was really hard painting on 3 different layers of historic brick 🫠 Ohio friends, please come check out The Tribute Bistro once it opens - Tracy and Jayme have some really cool plans up their sleeves and it’s just what our community needs! Thank you Tim Patchan for devoting so much of your time (on top of painting all day and then continue to work through the night helping me) and encouraging me every step of the way - I will remember this always. Thank you Tracy and Jayme for believing in me and working endlessly to get this gem up and rolling. Thank you Dave Kellogg for your projector, Bruce Vandall for your laser level & of course my family for their never-ending support. Cheers y’all and book me @drippyspaint 🎨 by @postmodernphoto

This past Fall I was overjoyed to be asked to teach a kid’s mixed media art class at The Tuscarawas Center For The Arts. I think I learned more than I taught 😂 I’m so grateful for this experience, thanks to Jeannine Kennedy and to the parents that signed their kids up for my class. It meant the world to me and I hope they had fun and learned cool things ✌🏻 I definitely had fun making art with these kiddos - the way they think and express creativity is brilliant. Keep creating, kids! P.S. the last 3 slides are what I made during class 🎨 by @postmodernphoto
