Playing overseas isn’t always what people think it is. 🌍🏀

Shadzilla takes us back to a time when he was playing overseas, the checks stopped coming, he stopped practicing…and eventually stopped playing altogether.

Then his agent called with a warning he NEVER expected:

“Rashad, you gotta get out of there. They’re about to plant drugs in your room.” 😳

Yeah…this story gets WILD.

Pro Athlete Mike Rosario: Sacrificing Basketball to Find Myself and God

I was still playing ball overseas, but mentally, physically, spiritually, I was stuck.

A lot of things went downhill. Wrong decisions. Wrong people. Wrong place, wrong time. And at some point I realized I had lost myself.

So I made the hardest call of my life. To find myself again, I had to give up something I loved. I went home, got alone with God, and made a commitment I was gonna stand firm on. I let Him take the wheel from there.

I sacrificed basketball to build my relationship with God. And that's when I finally found myself. 🙏

Get a financial advisor. Then get a third-party audit twice a year, so somebody with no connection to you or your advisor can say, "Hey, this don't look right." An audit is a drop in the bucket compared to what someone can steal from you.

Because here's the truth: almost every athlete who went broke had a financial advisor. So either they weren't listening, or the advisor was stealing. A lot of times, it's both. 🔒
