YOU DID IT! We just had to celebrate @carly_craft8 and @rileywcraft for cranking through the @nycmarathon yesterday in support of @covenant_house 🔥.

We’ve watched you both accomplish so much over the years... First Carly as a Positive Tracks Challenge Captain supporting housing, health, and access to education in Nicaragua with a Dodgeball Tournament. A couple years later, Riley Co-Captained Worth Our Earth, a school-wide fitness Challenge to implement recycling, composting, and terra-cycling at Hanover High.

But you didn’t stop there - jumping in as Team Positive Tracks runners at @coveredbridgeshalfmarathon to support Positive Tracks and new Challenge Captains to come!

Taking on the TCS NYC Marathon was a logical (and ambitious) next step in your Sweat For Good journey. We hope you’re both resting and glowing today because that was HUGE. Thank you for everything you continue to do. When it comes to you two, the sky is the limit. 🎉🌆

“Aprendí que ser líder no siempre significa tener todas las respuestas, sino saber tomar iniciativa, escuchar a los demás y seguir adelante cuando algo no sale como esperaba... Me ayudó a creer en mi y a confiar en mis habilidades”

“I learned that being a leader doesn’t always mean having all the answers, but knowing how to take initiative, listen to others, and keep going when something doesn’t go as I expected... It helped me believe in myself and trust in my skills.” — Alejandra Sanchez, 19, Challenge Captain, MA by @postracks

Positive Tracks is a national nonprofit with hubs in Hanover, NH and Boston, MA. We help ages 12 - 25 create their own athletic challenges to support the causes they care about most. We call it Sweating For Good®. Our programming provides young people with the mentoring, tools and resources needed to build leadership skills, create inclusive spaces, boost physical and mental health, and spark positive change - starting with themselves and starting in their own communities. 🔥 by @postracks

“This experience has made a huge impact on me. I never would have thought that I, just a regular college kid, could bring an entire community together and raise money and awareness for such an amazing cause. Hearing the stories of many that came the event- whether it was their first time walking a mile after surgery, first time out since giving birth, or even just the first time having their family all together doing a physical activity- it changed what this event meant to me. I didn’t know how much one event could impact me, my club, or the community. I am so grateful to be a part of something so amazing.”
