Hey, I’m Posy🤍

If you’ve followed me for a while or you’re new here, thank you for being here.

IVF and infertility changed me in many ways. But becoming a mum made me realise I needed to build something that allowed me to be with my son, while working around toddler life and the spare time I have.

After a year off on maternity leave, the thought of going back to hairdressing started to feel really overwhelming. I knew I wanted more flexibility and a way of working that fitted our life.

That’s when I found an online, travel-based business. I now earn alongside everyday life and help other women do the same.

I’m surrounded by women, some I’ve never met in person-who all wanted more. We support each other, help each other reach goals, and I’ve made some genuinely amazing friends.

I’m building a life on my terms, and I want to show you that you can do this too. Alongside family, work, and commitments. In small pockets of time, from anywhere, using just a phone or laptop. by @posyrm

Stepping out of my comfort zone was scary, but I knew I needed to make a change.

I still remember the conversation about returning to my hairdressing business after a year with my son-I felt sick to my stomach.

I needed something for myself.
A way to contribute to the bills.
But most of all, something that allowed me to be with my son.

I honestly didn’t know if that was even possible.

Now, through my online business, I’ve created a life that allows me to be present for the moments that matter most 🤍

If you’re standing at that crossroads too, trust that quiet feeling.
Sometimes the scariest step becomes the one you’re most grateful you took.

I don’t think most mums are asking for a life where they never work.

I think we’re asking for a life where work doesn’t mean missing out on the little things that make up our children’s childhood. 🤍

The school run.
The park after school.
Making dinner together.
Hearing about their day.
Being there for the random “Mummy, look!” moments.

When I think about the time I have with my son, it’s these moments I know I’ll remember.

They might look ordinary to everyone else… but they’re the moments that make up our life together.

And having the flexibility to be there for them?

Anyone else like this since becoming a mum? 😂

I actually LOVE my rare days out. Not because I want to be away from my boy, but because they just feel like such a treat now!

I’m so used to living in gym stuff, chucking my hair up and barely making an effort 😂

So when I actually have somewhere to go… the hair gets washed, blow dried and styled, the leggings come OFF and an actual outfit goes ON 😂

Like, who is she?! 😂🥂

The preschool guilt is something I really wasn’t prepared for.

I never really understood the term mum guilt before… but now I get it. 🥺

Dropping your whole world off somewhere when they’ve just told you they don’t want to go, then turning around and walking away… honestly, it’s one of the hardest things.

Because I feel guilty for not listening to him.

I’m his comfort. I’m the person he comes to when he’s upset, yet I’m also the one saying, “I know you don’t want to go, but you’re going anyway.”

And that feels so conflicting.

I know he has the BEST time once he’s there. I know he’s happy, he’s playing, learning and having fun. And I know that what he says before preschool doesn’t necessarily reflect how he actually feels once he’s there.

But when you’re standing at that door and your little one is telling you they don’t want you to leave… your mum heart doesn’t always listen to logic. 🤍

Think I have an obsession with striped tops 😂

But honestly, they might become my new mum uniform instead of living in gym leggings!

It’s really not that hard… is it? 😂

Raising a boy is basically just spending all day outside, whatever the weather, keeping the snacks coming and never sitting down 😂💙

Budget Play Area-Day 3 🛠️🌱

The day my husband has been dreaming about… laying fresh turf. 😂

And the day I’ve been dreaming about… not having to help! 😂🙌

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve heard about how good he is at laying turf, so the pressure was definitely on. 😂

And to everyone who told him not to lay it in a heatwave… you can all come back for Day 4 to see if we actually managed to get the turf to grow, and whether he’s giving up the day job to become a professional turf layer. 😂🌱

Because I need to know I’m not the only mum who is completely obsessed with being a mum and her little boy. 🤍

My phone is 99.9% photos and videos of my son. 😂

My whole personality is being a mum…
