Truffle season has arrived at @thehillsofrivermakers 🍄‍🟫✨

Their popular Italiano By Night has had a truffle makeover for September, with a special 9-dish menu for $79pp, available every Saturday night this month.

The night starts with a selection of five canapés, followed by comforting Italian favourites including truffle tagliatelle and creamy wild mushroom risotto, plus sides to share.

I really enjoyed the format of this one — plenty of different dishes to try, lots of truffle throughout the menu, and at $79pp, a fun option for a Saturday night dinner with friends.

Wednesday night plans = steak, fries and rooftop drinks 🥩🍟🍸

@siroco.rooftop in Fortitude Valley has become a Popular spot for a midweek steak night, and every Wednesday from 5pm, you can check it out for $49pp.

The night starts with warm Brazilian cheese bread before your choice of Wagyu Picanha or Black Angus Striploin, cooked to your liking and served with unlimited fries. You also get to choose your sauce — chimichurri, pink peppercorn or onion butter.

We added the roasted garlic potatoes on the side and, of course, a couple of drinks to enjoy with the rooftop atmosphere.

A pretty good excuse to turn an ordinary Wednesday into a steak night. 🥩✨
