I love to propagate. There is something extremely satisfying to see a cutting grow roots. So I got alot. This is not even everything. People ask me often 'do you need all those plants?' The simple answer is 'yes, yes I do'. I am planning to give most away and after that I most likely do it all over again. And after that, again.

Pothos was the first plant I learned to propagate and I still enjoy doing it! #pothos #propagation #plantsmakemehappy #cuttings #plantsofinstagram by @pothosandpalls

I recently trimmed my pothos plants, so they are not as long as they used to be, but they are still beautiful. Some of the cuttings I took will soon go back into their original pots to make the plants fuller. Featuring my Golden Pothos, Neon Pothos and Marble Queen Pothos.

The pothos and Philodendrons are my favourite plants and I love all the different types. In truth I love all the plants that can hang or climb.

I tried to save these Calathea, but the moment I got it people warned me. A Calathea just does not return the love. Turns out, they really don't. I like to give all plants a chance, but right now these Calathea are just wasting good pots, (And yes I am being dranatic here with the bin) So they are not for me. I got this beautiful Alocasia (I believe a Ninja, correct me it I am wrong) instead.

Not every plant does what we want, but that is also what makes this hobby so rewarding when it does go our way.

Today we went to our garden center. My wife and daughter for the christmas section. And I went for the plant departement! I have been looking for a Philodendron Mican, but they are harder to find than I thought. I will stay on this quest. I did bring home three other plants! And of course one of them is a pothos. The pothos is sold as a golden pothos, but is mostly a neon pothos. Two breeds for one!

The plants are thriving. Discovering new leaves every day. The Maranta suprised me today with little flowers!

A Scindapsus pictus I picked up recently for my daughters room. It already started pushing out new leaves. Today I learned that it actually isn't a Pothos.
