It has been over a year since I stepped foot in my office and since it was announced we can work from home forever, I went in to gather my belongings and never look back. Work from home is LIFE. I was told the security staff had promised to take care of all the plants this past year. My office is a major insurance company and their building had so many plants they had originally had a guy specifically hired to maintain the plants. I have to assume that man is gone now, from the state of this STUNNING fiddle leaf fig I just have to assume nobody is maintaining it like they used to. I posted this #fiddleleaffig a long time ago on here, here is a side by side of it now by @pothosqueen_

The first plant I purchased when I found out I was buying my house was this #monsteradeliciosa and then when my friend told me she was also buying a house I propagated some of it for her! I feel like a Monstera is every home owners dream plant! by @pothosqueen_

I absolutely HATE Lowe’s and Home Depot’s garden section and their “care” of plants or lack of — every once in a while I will go and “save” a plant from the clearance section. You can see from my previous posts I saved a #peperomiarubycasade which turned out to be one of my favorites. Today I picked up two plants, here’s one of them. Pictures posted in reverse order of this beautiful #peacelily — it’s even been a few hours now and it’s leafs are almost fully perked back up!! #glowup #plants #houseplants #plantsofinstagram #gardening #summer #indoorplants #homedecor #botanical #landscape

Hi it’s me again! — long story short: I was supppsed to move to an apartment, I parted ways with a few plants BUT now I’m buying the house I was renting and you all can expect to see a BUNCH of new pics of all the plants I have purchased over the last few weeks while I’m turning this rental into a “home” 💚🌱🪴🏡 #pothos #bonnieplants #plants #houseplants #plantsofinstagram #gardening #succulents #summer #indoorplants #homedecor #botanical #landscape #succulent

One of my all time favorite plants. My Peperomia Ruby Cascade. This breed of plant is somewhat of a hybrid frenkinstein plant. Created by the nurseries who sell plants to Lowe’s and Home Depot and usually only found there (this is how I understand it). I found mine in the clearance section of Lowe’s for $3. She had other plants stacked on top of her and really only had approx. 5 viable leaves on one strand. Over the past few years she has THRIVED and this summer she debuts her stunning trails and vibrant colors 🤍 #peperomia #peperomiarubycascade #plantmom #rescueplant #backyardgarden by @pothosqueen_

So excited! My next new plant(s) will be a Bird of Paradise! I ordered 4 seeds total. 2 of the #strelitzianicolai and 2 of the #strelitziareginae. They’re labeled here as white and orange #birdofparadise - I nicked the seeds and have soaked them for 48 hours. Last night I put them in the nursery tray with the vented lid to create a greenhouse like effect. They’re also under a full spectrum grow light :) Day One! by @pothosqueen_

My newest addition! I know I already posted about her but she’s in her new pot now. Also, funny story; I didn’t even know how much I paid for her until today when I was repotting her and saw the price tag. I guess I was just so excited I immediately placed her in my cart and didn’t think twice 🤷🏻‍♀️ #noshame #hoyacompacta #plants #houseplants #plantsofinstagram #gardening #succulents #summer #indoorplants #homedecor #landscape #succulent

I am not the owner of this neon Pothos. But I have been it’s caretaker for the past year. I feel fortunate to look at it 😍 #plants #houseplants #plantsofinstagram #gardening #succulents #summer #indoorplants #homedecor #botanical #landscape #succulent
