Let's roll with today's intros then shall we? 🐸

Joining us on Day 1 of our event, it is the ceramic maestro @potterly.studios 🏺

PotteRLy Studios is a ceramics studio with a soft spot for beautiful things that are actually meant to be used.

Inspired by traditional Korean ceramics and contemporary design, Rachel creates delicate porcelain pieces with clean lines, thoughtful forms and a quiet, timeless simplicity. Think cups for slow mornings, vases for favourite flowers, moon jars for simply looking lovely, and salt pigs that make seasoning dinner feel just a little more special.

Everything is handmade entirely from scratch. From the first sketch and the slightly hypnotic business of wheel throwing, right through to developing and mixing glazes, every stage happens by hand. The result is a collection of unique items where no two pieces are ever quite the same.

Save the date and grab your free entry tix on #Skiddle for a wonderful and festive day out @ootbdrillhall

It’s here! 🥳

My newest collection is officially live.

I’ve spent the past few months developing these pieces in porcelain, from the initial forms to throwing, trimming and making the glazes by hand.

I’ve been exploring classic, simple shapes and reimagining them through a more modern and stylish lens. The collection focuses on proportion, clean lines and small design details that give each piece its own character.

The result is a collection that feels timeless but contemporary, minimal but distinctive. Pieces that can become part of the little everyday rituals at home, while still having something special about them, or perhaps a special little gift for someone this Christmas.

There are only one each piece available, and as always, every Potterly Studios piece is handmade individually.

Thank you so much for following along with my little studio and supporting handmade ceramics. It genuinely means so much. 🤍

I hope you find something you love.

Thank you so so much to everyone who came by! 🤍 I had some of the most amazing chats of the summer! Although… is it still summer? 😂 You guys were absolutely amazing, and it was so lovely meeting and chatting with so many of you! New faces and old, hope you see you all soon again! If you saw anything you want from the table today but wanted a deeper think, feel free to email/dm me any time 🏺

A huge massive thank you to Kat and the team at @colonyofartists for organising such a wonderful event. It was their 21st birthday toooo! How crazy is that?! 🎉 I really appreciated all the thought, time and effort that went into putting together and promoting such an amazing event.

And of course, a special thank you to my neighbours @marisack01 and @adriana.de.matos.artwork for being my support throughout the weekend. Our friendship has officially survived wind, rain and everything in between! 😂🤍

And lastly, thank you @noahdok for saving me time and time again after I leave things at home. He made multiple trips back and forth to help save me from myself. 🥰

This time being back in Jingdezhen with my teacher @yanguian.carving made me want to challenge myself to something that is probably out of my abilities. Even though it’s not perfect, but we have to start from somewhere 🤓

A little glimpse into my pottery journey beyond just the clay 🤍

The places, the food, the quiet moments in between, they all become part of the memory.

Every time I visit my teacher’s studio, it feels like returning to a place that holds a special piece of my heart.

So grateful for the lessons, the kindness, and the moments shared outside the wheel. 🏺✨

One of my favourite parts of pottery is making my own tools. 🛠️

A huge thank you to my teacher, Yoosung, for teaching me how to make them. Instead of trying to make a standard tool fit my work, I can shape each one to suit exactly what I want to create. It gives me so much more freedom when carving and helps bring my ideas to life.

It’s a small part of the process, but one that makes a huge difference.

Follow along for more behind-the-scenes of my pottery journey. 🤍
