I’m excited to share a little of the premiere episode of a new seafood cooking tutorial series on wildfishdirect.com. This episode features James Beard Award winner Kerry Heffernan - undoubtedly the most talented and committed sustainable seafood chef I know. It was a privilege directing this and I’m looking forward to future episode with chefs of note from around the world. Please visit the website for the full episode. Check out the preview for my new video for Nordic Aquafarms. The Nordic team is planning an impressive commercial-scale recirculating aquaculture facility in Eureka CA that will supply sustainable seafood that is fully traceable with minimal environmental impacts. Nordic brought me on, along with motion graphics team ARQ 6, for a Feb shoot in Humboldt County. The scenery up there is absolutely stunning! The long rumored Brooklyn Biscuit Brunch launched today in Bushwick. Both the savory homemade biscuits with organic shrimp and a white wine, Parmesan sauce and the sweet version with fresh whipped cream and local fruit were hits. Props to chief biscuit maker @alyssafrake and our gracious hosts Anthony and Sarah. Walking here reminded me of some of my favorite instrumental soul jams from @daptonerecords and @dunhamrecords Definitely looking forward to a repeat😎 taken in Bushwick by @poullbrien

One thing about running a photo studio / event space - you never know what kind of joy will enter your day. To think, a mere 30 minutes ago a lip couch was the furthest thing from my mind. #eventlife taken in Bigeye Studios by @poullbrien

Thank you @charlesbradley for an incredible friendship, for bringing love to my heart and music to my soul. You are truly missed my friend. ・・・
November 5th, 2018 would have been Charles Bradley’s 70th birthday. In celebration of his extraordinary life, we present you with his fourth and final album, Black Velvet, a collection of 10 songs by the late great Screaming Eagle of Soul, all appearing on album together for the first time and lovingly assembled by his friends and family at @dunhamrecords & @daptonerecords.
