Another sneak peek at the album demo sessions from @studio_sublime with @dave_rhodes_productions This one will probably stay as a full acoustic number… can’t wait to get into the studio to nail this album. Sick footage from @deadairlive of our opening slot for the mighty @devilskinnz at Christchurch Town Hall @christchurchtownhall from soundcheck to full bells & whistles go time! Once again… we can’t stress enough how much the whole Devilskin Whanau welcomed us and made us feel respected and appreciated. Definitely a band that are leading by example and showing the next wave of guitar bands how it should be done! Make sure you get out and catch Devilskin and The Boondocks on the rest of the tour, especially as they’re throwing down some incredible opening bands in each city… including our mates Haast Hunter and Courtnay & the Unholy Reverie! All Hail Devilskin! #powderchutes #livemusic #nzmusic #fyp #concert by @powder_chutes
POWDER CHUTES 2026 TOUR RECAP We’re still on a buzz from our tour of New Zealand with The Boondocks. It began in February at Auckland’s Double Whammy @whammybarauckland , and wrapped up at Asgard @asgardvenuenz_official in New Plymouth at the start of May (New Zealand Music month)… and it’s no exageration that by the end of the tour Scotty and Brandon from the Boonies became our brothers. Every guest band just slayed (looking at you @haast_hunter , @coastarcade , @fubar_band.co !, Rush Hour, @ragweedofficial , @therealsplinters and @courtnay_and_the_unholy ) and every single person we encountered seemed to be on the same positive vibe… We spent time hanging out with @westielee and @nikitaweirwolfnz , hung out with Rich, Johnny and Justin from the @highlysuspect family, had so many people at the shows that have been an inspiration to us… (way too many to mention). We were lucky enough to have our bro Oscar @soundboi_oski on the desk for the South Island Shows as well, which always adds the spice. So here’s a short tour edit from Keegan @deadairlive who has been part of our touring family for the last two tours, and this is an incredible edit he’s put together to try and show the tour vibe! It also features our brand new track RIVERS which drops on 3 July, recorded with the mighty Dave Rhodes @dave_rhodes_productions We’ve got another couple dates to announce VERY shortly to celebrate its release, so stay tuned… Chur! -Otis, Archie, Henry & Clarke #powderchutes #fyp #nzmusicmonth #newmusic #music by @powder_chutes

New Merch Alert! 1 - We’re excited to announce our first Cap Colab with @leadhead_nz The Pow Fkn Caps feature everything you know and love from Leadhead and were inspired by the Pink Variant of our debut vinyl. There will only ever be 100 of these, and we’ve already bought 10 of them between ourselves… Caps are $60 🫡 Once these go, we’ll work with Troy at Leadhead on a new limited design. If you’re local to the Wanaka area, or Queenstown at a push (if you’re not in a rush), then DM us rather than buying them on the website, and we’ll deliver them into your sticky fingers for free. But wait, there’s more: 2 - We also have a Black on Black variant of a new design from Barney at Indium Design @indiumdesignltd these are killer 🤙🤙 3 - And last but not least, we’ve got a new tee with a design by the excellent Ché Mcpherson using a photo taken by Keegan @deadairlive at our @whammybarauckland slot during Going Global. Same deal… hit the website to order merch if you need ‘em posted, but if you’re local to Wanaka, DM us and we’ll deliver. Both shirts are up for $50 🤙 Big Chur for the support. Wānaka… another mental hometown show! Biggly Chur to @waterbarwanaka for hosting, to the ever awesome @skidmark_smith for sound, @mitchell__collett for the flashy flashy lights and to both @mule__band and @thedevilsletus.qt for whipping the crowd into a frenzy. We played three new tracks for the first time ever and are stoked with how they went down… can’t wait to record em with @dave_rhodes_productions soon. Once again Keegan was there to grab footage that captures the vibe beautifully. Chur Otis, Archie, Henry & Clarke Powder Chutes by @powder_chutes
