Chynna, I will never forget the day you came into my life.

Nobu had just passed away, and I was devastated. He was only 5 and had such a hard little life. Eight days after he left, I received a call from @zorrokitty1 : “Someone just came in with a 3 lb. Yorkie.”

I wasn’t ready. I was grieving. I was broken. But I also knew that sometimes the Universe shows up exactly when you need it to.

So I brought you home. I wasn’t sure I would keep you, but I knew you would be safe and loved.

That was 15 years ago.

You were feisty and so full of life. You were precious. You were my little girl. And you were so very, very loved.

I hope you knew just how much.

Making this decision has not come easily, but I cannot let your little body suffer more than it already has. As much as it breaks my heart, I know it is the kindest, most loving thing I can do for you.

Please find Nobu and Naia and give them hugs and kisses from Mommy. Tell them I still love and miss them, too.

Thank you for finding me when I needed you most. Thank you for 15 years of love, companionship, and memories that I will carry with me forever.

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of my dear friend Teresa Stanislawski Vest, who left us on Sunday, July 13, surrounded by Brent, the love of her life for over 45 years.

Many of you know that Teresa and Brent were high school sweethearts, and I had the honor of standing beside them as the maid of honor at their wedding. Their love story was one for the ages—deep, enduring, and truly beautiful.

Teresa was always full of life, the kind of person who saw the glass half full no matter what. I will cherish so many memories—especially our Feast of the Seven Fishes gatherings and our endless laughs. She brought joy wherever she went, and her spirit will live on in all of us who loved her.

My heart is broken for Brent, Ashley, Tyler, Nicoletta, and their families as well as Teresa's mom Toni and her brothers and sisters and families

A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 27th from 2–5 PM at TM Ralph Funeral Home in Plantation, Florida.
A Memorial Service will follow on Monday, July 28th at St. Gregory's Church, also in Plantation.
