Most of what gets called streetwear in India is still copying western cues: logos, silhouettes, borrowed slang. What we rarely see are pieces that actually carry the weight of our own streets, our own language. With @powerdrip_ @powerchildnesss is building something different. He’s working to bring out elements of real Indian street culture, words, symbols, and histories that belong to us. This tee says khapeetar, a street term for those who perform with blades in their mouths, a reminder that our culture has always turned danger into spectacle, survival into theatre, into style. This is what makes @powerdrip_ unique: it doesn’t imitate streetwear, it speaks in its original tongue.
