Zurkhāneh fundamentals training with 2019 World’s Strongest Man @martinslicis

Here I am teaching the art of Takhte Shena; the Persian Push Up board. This is the main fundamental exercise to get the body prepared for the grueling strength training session ahead.

The carryover for this can apply to all athletes from strongmen, martial arts, swimmers, grapplers etc.

The Mammoth’s Foot 🦣

These Meel aren’t brutal because of the weight alone, they’re brutal because the handles are as thick as a soda can, demanding bone crushing grip strength with every swing.

This is old world Persian strength. No shortcuts. Just raw power, endurance, and discipline.

What I do isn’t new, I’m simply helping revive a tradition that has stood the test of time.
