T o T on Climate Justice 2026. Our amazing batch of 2026 had three days residential training on different thematic issues: climate science, feminist climate justice and injustice timeline, policies and negotiations, climate finance, environmental law, safety security for environmental defenders, mental health/ wellbeing for defenders, false ba real solutions and climate simulation. Thanks to @unity_4_change being part of this extremely important training. by @powershift_nepal

Two months after the flash floods, survivors are still waiting, not just for shelter and livelihood, but for answers, assurance, and accountability. Not even a single visit or information has been collected from the center.

It is deeply unacceptable that, even after two months, survivors have received no clear information, concrete commitments, or meaningful follow-ups from the government. While the state remains silent, monasteries, volunteers, organizations, and concerned individuals continue to step in to support those struggling to rebuild their lives.

This is the situation at the Sundarijal holding center, and sadly, it reflects the uncertainty faced by survivors in other affected areas as well.

Children, adults, and elderly people cannot be left indefinitely in uncertainty, waiting for a future they have no clarity about. Disaster survivors do not need temporary sympathy; they need dignity, security, and a concrete plan for their future.

Relief cannot end when public attention fades. Recovery cannot be left to the goodwill of volunteers. And the government cannot continue to evade its responsibility to protect the people affected by disasters.

We urgently call on @pmonepal to take immediate, transparent, and accountable action to ensure safe and dignified shelter, sustainable livelihood opportunities, and a clear rehabilitation planfor every affected family.
Two months is too long to leave survivors waiting. They deserve answers. They deserve action. They deserve justice.

Global Day of Action 2026

The climate crisis is a crisis of justice.

On September 18, young people, activists and climate concerned individuals across Nepal came together taking space in our streets to speak about climate justice, accountability, and the changes our communities are demanding.

Those who have contributed the least continue to bear the greatest impacts. We stand together in solidarity with communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis and with movements demanding accountability, justice, and a just transition.

The movement continues.
