Wasn’t a Buck like we wanted but I’ll take food on the table.

I’m the 3rd possibly 4th generation to be hunting in Bear Valley.

It was a slow 3 days and my dad and I agreed to quit at 3:30 on our last day today. I pass a rock leading up to my spot and I always stop to say good morning and see ya later on my way out to my grandma and pop as their ashes are spread there. This morning I asked grandma to say a prayer and pop to give me some good luck. Hardly anything all day so I figured I’d go sit with them. I sat my chair down, took off my pops wedding ring from 6-26-54 to take a picture at 3:01. Seconds later I hear a noise, so quickly I put the ring on and my phone away. Up comes two doe and I took my shot at 3:03. by @powlife4

My college club lacrosse helmet turned into a flower pot!

After my college coach’s funeral I picked up some forget me not seeds at the service. Fast forward over a year and I left the packet in the complete opposite storage conditions you should and they were a year expired but I decided to give them a go. Not an ounce of green thumb in me but I babied these thing like no other and I’m so proud these little flowers bloomed.

Miss ya coach Teich and thank you for the memories. UPJ lax ❤️ by @powlife4

Chapter 10 of coaching Cumberland Valley Youth Lacrosse-CVYLAX is in the books. 10 seasons, where the heck did that time go? 7 as an assistant and now 3 as head coach. I started this journey at 25 wanting to give back to the sport I love so much and as a thank you to all the parents and coaches that helped my teammates and myself along the way and most importantly my parents. I don’t know it was just my way of saying thanks. I had 7 years in mind but just fell in love with it and kept going.

A huge thank you to all the other coaches, board members and volunteers that have allowed me to do this for 10 years as well. To the club teams coaching in summer, thank you I’m over that heat.

Plans are to be back for year 11, not sure when I’ll hang them up but for now I’ll enjoy a beer and celebrate 10 years of coaching! Ohh and a Mid Penn championship!!!!! Proud of this group!

And yes I’ve kept a roster of each year along the way. by @powlife4
