𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟏 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 ::: 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐨𝐱𝐜𝐚𝐭

Poxcat is a self-funded collective based in Brussels, founded in 2017 to support and spotlight womx DJs and producers. Through parties, radio shows, and podcasts, we create platforms for underrepresented voices in electronic music. With a DIY spirit, we embrace both the political and the personal—letting narrative, experimentation, and a sense of openness shape our sets and events.

For Second Sundays, they will focus on the theme of the collective dimension.

Second Sundays is a monthly series initiated by Q-O2. Each session a new guest is invited to share an insight into their own listening, playing and speaking about a selection of sound and music that is important to their thinking or practice. The sessions try to put value on listening to recorded music in a social setting as a space for discussion.

Cocktail: Sous-marin

ᴇɴ | As a proud resident DJ at @kiosk.radio and an integral member of the @poxcat_collective – a collective dedicated to uplifting queer and female-identifying artists – Marouchka is also a creative force as a graphic designer with @bye.byebinary, advocating for gender diversity. Her sounds range from obscure 80’s EBM to upbeat electro acid, forgotten wave gems and the occasional trance trove. Always surprising, always unapologetically queer.

Altijd verrassend, altijd onbeschaamd queer.

For Poxcat's Microwave residency, we have chosen to work on the notion of the collective. As I am presently plunged into Simon Reynolds’ essays on Hardcore Continuum, and totally absorbed by the pirate radio chapters, this audio essay mix is pirated with quotes from the book, extracts from documentaries mixed with some hot traxs, mostly from the UK…
✨ Shout out to the Camp Group <3 and Master K9✨ Huge thank u @occubusjive for the transatlantic encouragements! 🚑 #audioessay
