At 12:00AM 3-3, go watch the first short made out of creator day. Next week, I’m going to show how we literally brained stormed the scene on location. I told the crew an idea and they ran with it. This was fun! Let’s create together! Playing around with imagination is so fun. Reenacting scenes is fun too. Creator Day! At all the events I go to, they tell you to network within your network. Well, a small group of us came together for a Creator Day to work on our crafts. Nothing specific, just some creativity, a few sample scripts, collaboration of equipment. You bring the lights, you bring the cameras, you bring the mics, you bring the talent! Our first small creator day was a blast, and I learning and horning in. I can’t wait for you all to see the scene we recreated! It will have you laughing. I’m speechless! I am so elated to have my first movie event, the screening of Nostalgia Twice!!! Thank you to the production, cast, and everyone who came out!I’m grateful for this journey. God gives me visions and I’m like, “Now how are you going to do that, Erin.” Well, he always provides. Stay tuned, if God is willing, there is more in store! This was a small event, but the next event will be bigger with more space so everyone can come!!!! I can’t wait to showcase the others projects 4.4 & PHS that God has graced us with! I love the team of individuals that God has blessed me with. Nothing can be done alone in the Indie world. Take the small steps! Do it for the plot! And let them not understand, laugh, mock! Celebrate every milestone. I’ve learned that baby(small) steps will turn to toddler steps that will turn to adolescent that will turn to adult(large) steps. The key is belief in yourself and the people surrounding you. I believe in the creatives that I’m around. It takes a lot of heart to go after your dreams. This is just one of my babies. God gives us all visions, and some of us run with them. Some of us just keep them inside. I commend both because this takes a lot of strength and not giving up.I’m learning so much in this process. And the main thing is to never give up, you never know what’s good around the corner.
