The magic that resides within an old book is truly magnificent. The fortune of living through a story written several years before your existence is undoubtedly enchanting. When you view the once majestically crafted cover embellished with the richly designed title or illustration torn and barely fixed with scotch tape, when you move the book and you see the once carefully sewn pages falling apart like an old man being done with his responsibilities, you realise how much of a cherished aspect it was once to the individual that possessed it. Scanning through the dancing hues of brown along the edges and sniffing the archaic fragrance that it provides splendidly transcends the boundaries between past and present. The book is certainly inflated with pride, honour and memories, memories that make you wonder and wander along the path of a wondrous fantasy.
And someday, the books you hold close to your heart will be a part of history. Newer generations will come across it and admire it, but will they truly understand the significance it held for you? Perhaps or perhaps not. That doesn't matter, what matters is, books and generally any form of art is like a connecting thread between past and present, a time machine, a ghostly hour, a well of wisdom for generations to come. by @ppraptistic

Found these pictures from winter of 2024 whilst scrolling through my gallery. I'm posting them now cause they look cool (or maybe hot because it's a bonfire?) by @ppraptistic
