NANI ANNA ❤️, I still remember that day at the Shyam Singha Roy event. I stood far away from you and took a picture with you, and I wrote a caption saying, “One day, I’ll definitely make a film with you.”
Back then, you were so far away from me. But today, I got to stand this close to you, hug you, take a picture with you , and you even signed my shirt. ❤️
But I truly believe that day is still waiting for me. One day, you’ll stand on a stage, hold the mic, point at me and say, “This is my director.”
That’s the moment I’m working towards. And I’ll keep working until that dream becomes a reality.

I honestly didn’t know if I would even get an autograph. By the time I reached, Nani Anna had already given photos to almost 3,000+ people, and he had been standing there for hours. I thought maybe there wouldn’t be enough time, so I just went with one thought “At least if I get a picture with him, that’s enough.” I took a marker with me anyway… just in case. ❤️

He saw me.

Me: Annaya, sign kavali.
Nani Anna: Sign ah raa? Ekkada?
Me: Ikkada cheyyi Annaya…

While he was signing, I told him something that I’ve been carrying in my heart for a long time.

Me: Annaya, oka day meetho kachithanga cinema thistha.
Nani Anna: Thappakunda. ❤️

That “Thappakunda” wasn’t just a reply for me. It felt like someone I look up to was giving a little more strength to a dream I’m already chasing. One day, I really want to stand behind the camera and say, “Nani Anna, mana cinema start cheddam.” ❤️

Then while leaving after the picture

Me: LOVE YOU ANNAYA ❤️
Nani Anna: LOVE YOU TOO ❤️

Anni hours ninchoni, already 3,000+ people ki photos ichi, antha tired ga unna kuda, naatho intha conversation chesaru. Autograph chestharo ledho ani vellina naku, oka signature tho paatu oka beautiful memory, oka promise, oka smile, and “Love you too” kuda icharu. 🥹❤️

Maybe that’s why, for so many of us, Nani Anna is not just a favourite. There’s something so warm and genuine about him that makes you feel like he’s one of your own.

After my first project, I took a few months before coming back with my second one.
I’m truly sorry for making you wait this long.
But I didn’t want to rush and bring out something just for the sake of calling it my next project.
I wanted to learn, grow, rewrite, rethink, and give this story the best version I could.
Every month of this wait gave me something — more experience, more understanding, more struggle, and most importantly, a deeper love for cinema.
And today, I’m finally ready to reveal the title of my Project 2 — THE LAST BREAD. 🍞🪳
This isn’t just another project for me.
It’s another dream I’m putting on screen. Another story I’m giving my heart to.
Thank you for waiting. Thank you for believing in me and my stories.
I promise you, I’ll give this film my everything and serve you the best I can.
The wait may have been long, but I truly hope the result makes it worth the wait.

Being a filmmaker means falling in love with uncertainty.
You spend years believing in a dream that nobody else can see.
Rejections become routine, sacrifices become normal, and patience becomes your greatest strength.
Some days, all you have is hope... but that's enough to keep creating.
I don't know when my moment will come.
But until it does, I'll keep writing, keep shooting, and keep believing.
Because for me, cinema isn't a career. It's the only life I know. 🎬
