Toward the street, the house keeps almost to itself. Toward the desert, it opens entirely.

Sunlight cuts across the entry. A terrace frames the pool and the hills beyond. In the bedroom, the day slows down. Throughout the house, acrobat mini | short and acrobat mini | trim long carry the light once the sun goes down.

Architecture, technology and design working as one.

Where does a house gather?

Around a fire set into raw stone, at a long dining table, along the kitchen island. In the kitchen, acrobat mini | short sits on the plaster ceiling, a small body on an invisible hinge, its recessed lens keeping the light glare-free.

Fixtures recede. The material speaks.

Moccasin Flats, Hurricane, Utah. Fifteen acres near Zion National Park.

@woods_dangaran shaped the house as five low pavilions that follow the contours of the land, linked by bridges of glass. Plaster, wood and stone keep the palette close to the landscape. Overhead, the ceiling stays one calm surface, with light reduced to a few quiet points.

Over the coming days, we look at how prado fits into that logic.

From the double vanity to the bedroom, the same symmetry and restraint carries through at L’Appartement Boétie: paired lines, soft light, and natural material throughout.

Steps away from the Champs-Élysées, L'Appartement Boétie's living room is anchored by two mirrored sofas. Three tall windows carry light across the warm oak accents and a table set for ten. Herringbone parquet and original moldings keep the room grounded in its own history.

Set in a Haussmann building on rue La Boétie, this residence keeps the generous proportions of its era while the interiors stay deliberately spare. That same restraint shows in the kitchen: clean lines, natural materials, nothing left to spare.
