Basilique Saint-Michel Archange de Menton

Good morning my little rays of sunshine. Time to resurrect, stumble and whine. 😅☕️

Inukshuk at Medicine Lake, Jasper National Park 🇨🇦

Inukshuk, that which acts in the capacity of a human. A navigational tool, acting as a sign post to guide travelers.

Čumil, Man at Work
Bratislava, Slovakia 🇸🇰

Throughout my travels, I’m continuously reminded how kind people can be.

It’s really exciting when I make a new friend who’s passionate about their city or country and is willing to share it with me.

Having a local tour guide is positively invaluable.
I can only hope to repay them in kind some day.

This quirky “Man at Work” statue caught a lot of attention from the many people exploring Old Town Bratislava. I simply couldn’t walk away without snapping my own photo. What a cutie 💝

Check out my stories to see more of what beautiful Bratislava has to offer.

Happy Monday everyone….let’s do this

Széchenyi Lánchid, Budapest, Hungary 🇭🇺
AKA Chain Bridge

Transitioning from one river bank to the other, the beautiful Chain Bridge, in Budapest, spans the River Danube.

We’re a few days into a new year. With it, comes hope for a fresh start, plans for new adventures, and endless possibilities

I’ve always been a planner.
Some may think that’s a bad thing, as it can set oneself up for failure or disappointment.
Although, if you add in a pinch of patience and a dash of problem solving, anything is possible.

Currently, I’m researching multiple trips for 2025. I may have to sell a kidney to pull off my plans, but hey, I’ve got 2. I’ll simply drink less 🥂👎😂

Are you planning or hoping for something this new year?

Anywhoooo…..on this first Monday of the year,
May your coffee be strong and your Monday be short

Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹

From mid-November until Christmas, Vienna’s most beautiful squares transform into magical Christmas markets.

More than 20 official markets sell a vast array of gifts and mouth watering treats.

At night, the festive experience comes alive with lights, music, skating and other activities ✨🥂🎄🎠✨

Touring the markets definitely inspires the Christmas mood. ✨🎄🥂✨

What did Santa Claus say to the Christmas tree? 🤔
You need to lighten up 😂🎄✨

Prague, Czech Republic 🇨🇿

Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires”, and famous for its cultural life, Prague needs to be on your travel list.

From this view point you can see Prague’s Old Town, the heart of its historical core. The Vltava River flows through this stunning city with colourful baroque buildings, gothic churches, and medieval astronomical clock.

Sixteen shopping days, two Mondays and who knows how many office parties until Christmas.
If you haven’t started checking off your Christmas list, you must love pressure. 😅🤯

By the way, my favourite colour is pink and I’m a size Dom Pérignon champagne….in case you’re wondering what to get me 😂🥂🍾💝

Happy Monday y’all. 🙋‍♀️

Hallstatt, Austria 🇦🇹

Visiting the charming village of Hallstatt, is a day I’ll never forget. It was like walking inside a postcard. ✨❄️✨

For its population of roughly 800 people, I can’t imagine how the citizens feel playing host to over 3 million tourists per year. Honestly, boggles my mind.

Thankfully, on this day, most likely due to the weather, the crowds were relatively small. Although, there was a bit of a pedestrian traffic jam on the central thoroughfare, due to a swan looking for a nice place for an afternoon aperitif 🥖🦢

Three more Mondays left, before Christmas….does everyone, who celebrates, have their tree up?
If not, you best get on that.

Happy Monday my friends ✨🎄❄️✨

Budapest, Hungary 🇭🇺

View across the Danube, of Budapest, from Halászbástya or Fisherman’s Bastion.

The best known historical monument in Budapest.

I had an unforgettable time exploring beautiful Budapest. A charming, walkable city bisected by the Danube River, connected by its 19th century Chain Bridge.

If only all Mondays had a view like this.
Enjoy yours where ever you are dear friends
