Our Indienne de Provence shirt dress reimagines the romance of eighteenth-century French Indiennes through painterly botanical bouquets, delicate flowering vines and the effortless ease of the finest Kerala cotton.

Inspired by the celebrated French Indiennes of Provence and Nîmes—beautifully adapted from the Indian chintz textiles that transformed European decorative arts during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries—this print celebrates a remarkable dialogue between India and France, where heritage, artistry and craftsmanship come together in a timeless expression of textile design.

It has been a joy to dress Charu Gandhi of Elicyon London in the weeks leading up to the unveiling of The Lalique Bar by Elicyon at Wow!house 2026 ✨

As Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour’s Wow!house 2026 opens its doors, I’m delighted to share a few portraits from that journey with Charu.

I have long admired Charu’s refined design perspective and the culture of excellence she has so thoughtfully cultivated through her interior design and architectural practice at Elicyon.

United by a shared reverence for craftsmanship, heritage, and the enduring allure of objects and textiles made by hand, this collaboration has felt particularly meaningful and close to my heart.

For our latest drop at PR, I found myself dreaming of movement — of island afternoons slipping into elegant evenings, and wardrobes packed into canvas carryalls for journeys across coastlines, old cities, gardens, and candlelit summer tables somewhere between Colombo, Kyoto, Palermo, Jaipur, and the Med 🗺️🌴🌞

This collection was imagined for travel and repeatability: pieces designed not for a singular moment, but for a life beautifully lived in motion. Clothes to be worn again and again, layered instinctively, transforming with mood, destination, and time of day.

A quiet Japanese eloquence runs throughout our Crêpe de Chine styles this season — most visibly through the Kyoto Floral print, kimono-inspired silhouettes, and our all-new structured harem pants. Shapes designed to move softly around the body — relaxed, fluid, cinematic in motion.

At the same time, the collection became an exploration of surrealism and storytelling through print. Inspired by the dreamlike theatricality of Schiaparelli, Dalí, and Picasso — imagined architectures, talismans, hidden motifs, and decorative fantasy translated into joyful everyday resort dressing.

Elsewhere, our Circo di Palermo print, painterly Bengal stripes, sun-drenched palettes, and ornamented motifs carry memories of ceramic tiles, fruit markets, circus posters, tropical gardens, and long European summers. New Bengal Stripe colourways emerged instinctively around the mood of Colombo and the lush softness of Sri Lanka, including beautiful interventions by Annika @annikafernando.sl through her intuitive eye for colour and tone.

And perhaps that is what this collection ultimately became: a kind of atlas of memory and movement — fragments of places, conversations, art, architecture, textiles, and people distilled into an easy, repeatedly wearable wardrobe.

Over 100 pieces now arrive at @pr_srilanka— our proud outpost and meaningful window into island life in this part of the world. Evolving into a personal, intuitive, and strong alliance— chapter by chapter, print by print, season by season.

PR Colombo has slowly, quietly become one of the most special outposts for our label 🌴

Every season when I return, there is a certain familiarity in the air — the warmth of the city, the beautiful light, the effortless way our clothes seem to find their place here 🙌

Over the past year, launching a special edit every couple of months has become something I deeply look forward to. It feels less like a store drop and more like a moment — a conversation between place, people, clothing, and my story 📕

There is something about Colombo that understands our language. And in many ways, I feel I understand hers…

The relaxed silhouettes of our clothes — made for ease, for travel, for movement, for warm afternoons and long evenings.
