Be it the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, or ’90s, hold on to every version of yourself, and own each one gracefully.

Because every version, every phase, every chapter has shaped the person you are today.

So don’t let go of your past selves. Hold on to each of them they’re all a part of you.

This isn't about any one person or conversation, it's an observation of a pattern I've seen repeatedly across the creative industry.

A reflection on how manipulation plays out between talent and the firms that hire them especially in creative industries where genuine skill often gets undervalued to save a few bucks, while mediocrity gets protected and overpaid.

Sometimes calculated compliance is the only language such businesses understand. Observe, adapt, and walk away when the purpose is served.

Sharing this as a reflection on that dynamic, not as a message to anyone specific. If it resonates, you'll know why. If it doesn't apply to you, it isn't about you. 🖤✨

After a long time, a day on set. Learning, observing and getting better.

Truly inspiring how a country obsessed with jugaad forgot the biggest jugaad of all, just... asking the machine before arguing with your relatives.

We didn't get colonized by technology. We just voluntarily re-enrolled ourselves, this time in EMIs, with better WiFi.

*Error = Bias/Biasedness not Biasness

Emotional, hero-driven movements have a history in India of moving faster than the facts. Read the specifics, not just the sentiment.

The real issue is impulsive, emotional reactions without reading the situation. A carefully manufactured image has been sold to the nation for years, this happens with plenty of leaders, so why not Wangchuk? The narrative that he's the real-life "Rancho" from 3 Idiots, poor boy, broken system, revolutionary innovator is false. Rancho was never based on him; if anything, his public image was built on the film. Truth stays truth, lies stay lies they shouldn't blur into one story.

Overnight "movements" like AAP or CJP follow a pattern we've seen before, and youth fall for it every time. I remember students at Jantar Mantar rallying for Anna Hazare in 2011, everyone knows how that ended. Wangchuk's story isn't rags to revolution either. It's political family privilege repackaged as grassroots rebellion.

This might be the same Anna Hazare pattern repeating, CJP picks Wangchuk as today's face, only to bring forward another one later, the way Kejriwal did in Delhi before disappointing the people who trusted him. India's youth is emotionally driven, and that makes it easy to mobilize.

To be clear: I'm not biased toward BJP, and I'm not endorsing gimmick-driven figures like Wangchuk or this protest either. If BJP is at fault anywhere, including on why the NEET paper actually leaked and who's responsible, that should be said honestly, without favouritism either way.

Poetry makes me serious and I don't want to be a serious man cuz I'm never serious😒🙆 But anyway I had to give it a chance and perform my poem "The Yearnful Confab" from 2019. Hope you will like it.✨ A good experience @indiehabitat and the event hosted by @poojasachdeva_poet .✨
