The Nobel Prize for Literature 2026 ! For this kind of writing ??

One cannot help but question the judgement.

When distinctions once regarded as the gold standard of literary excellence begin to invite such serious misgivings, one wonders whether the Nobel, too, is succumbing to a slow but unmistakable decline-its lustre fading, its authority eroding, and its once-unassailable prestige increasingly open to question.

The lament of our generation- everything we once held in very high standards seem increasingly banal.
