Until we meet again. Picture prompt by @the.abyss.ink.society
Penned by @pratimaraj03

Until We Meet Again
My eyes long for you,
and my heart doesn't slow its pace.
Waiting to catch just one glimpse of you,
but I think you weren't ready to give
us that 'one' chance.
You left me alone forever,
and now sleeping eternally inside
the grave.
I will not allow you to leave me astray;
my presence each day at your tomb
is proof that I still love you.
Yet, be assured that
I will be fine without you.
So, relieve your soul from the body
and set it free to find its new world,
Until we meet again.

Waqt ki kadar kariye, rishton ko sneh aur waqt dijiye aur reth ko zabardasti se rokha nahi jaa sakta.
A prompt by @metamorphic_soul @metamorphic_society
penned by @pratimaraj03

Chahe reth ho, rishtey ho, ya waqt,
zabardasti se rokha nahi jaa sakta.
Par samay ki izzat karte hue,
reth ko komalta se sambalte hue,
aur rishton ko sneh aur waqt dete hue hi,
in sab ko apne jeevan mein
sanjokar rakha jaa sakta hai.

Stone and Bone. A prompt by @loco.fy8.4.da.ry8
Penned by @pratimaraj03

The name of the bone buried
for years is inscribed on the stone.
The family of the deceased mourns
while placing a bouquet on the tomb.
The soul has embraced another life,
not knowing who their family were
in their prior life.
Yet, we call out the name and reminisce,
keeping them psychologically immortal
in our lives.
The stone and bone at the graveyard
remain, and the relationship with the deceased still remains.

Susurrus. A prompt by @writers_milkyway
Penned by @pratimaraj03

The baby's gentle susurrus within the womb signaled the mother, triggering a midnight craving for chocolate ice cream. She tiptoed towards the fridge and emptied the whole tub.

Beneath my skin. Weekly Prompt by @prompt.tree.poetry
Penned by @pratimaraj03

Your eyes read mine
and fall beneath my skin.
Your desire to acquire
something from this relationship
and your passion for a live-in
without commitments
make me feel awkward and shy,
with discomfort beneath my skin.
As I believe in rituals and commitments,
not a fling.

Linger. A Prompt by
@mpv_prompts @dropsofinkandtears @meganspoetryverses
Penned by @pratimaraj03

You have lingered in my mind day and night,
ever since the day I first saw you.
We hardly speak to one another at the office,
but I speak to you so much in my head,
while I am in the shower.
I keep feeling your presence in my home,
intentionally making breakfast and dinner
for two- as though you live with me,
and this house holds the occupancy
of two souls.

This entry for last week's prompt is a conversation between self and reflection of both the physical and the hidden within. Love the perspectives these two chose to weave into this Conversation Duet.
