CABO, MEXICO

As friends can attest, I was definitely sinking into the sadness that everyone in my diaspora is experiencing from so much uncertainty and seeming cosmic unfairness, but I had booked my birthday vacation and life milestone months earlier and it turned out to be just what I needed to rest, relax, have some peace and come back fully energized.

I recommend a highly rated all-inclusive if you’re looking for a getaway centered on tranquility and completely unplugging. I’ve been to general all-inclusive resorts in other cities in different beach-towns before and learned from those trips it’s worth waiting to get exactly what you need. by @prattorney

TIBILISI - GEORGIA

The Persian restaurants and dancing at night were my favorite part of this city. The people of Georgia are fun and also like to have a good time.

For some reason, the day tours were just nowhere near as good as Batumi. If I were to do this city again I would book my own tours and do some more research on the best ways to plan.

Recommend seeing the mother of George statue, making time to visit a traditional hammom (we didn’t have time), and walking around the city.

I would skip the wine tour next time as it wasn’t as robust or interesting as the wine tours in say Portugal.

You can get a bottle of Georgian Wine for three dollars US if you go to grocery stores like Carrefour.

Overall, the biggest lesson I learned this trip is it’s easy to have fun anywhere if you go with people who love to joke and have a good time. Sounds simple, but it’s the difference between a good vacation and a lively unforgettable one. taken in Tbilisi,Georgea by @prattorney

GEORGIA - BATUMI

this was my favorite city in Georgia for many reasons: the people were very nice and were enthusiastic to dance and hang out with my crew even when Persian music was played, the food is great, and the day tours were actually pretty good.

Recommend the botanical gardens, the miniature gardens, the alphabet tower, and going to a very traditional Georgie restaurant with live music. The music is a lot of fun to dance to, and the dancing is great!

Georgia is an affordable trip for Americans during what is yet another recession. download the bolt app and you will pay five times less for your ride shares and travel.

Apple Pay and credit card is accepted pretty much everywhere. taken in Batumi, Georgia by @prattorney

Today is Sezah Bedar, 13 days after Nowruz. The sprouted greens from your Haft-seen go back to nature by tossing into a river or water, you make a wish as you throw them in and traditionally you would have a picnic today.

Remembering the leaders that championed for everyone’s right to vote. In 2024 the only party that trusts women to make their own healthcare decisions and is on the ballot are Democrats. Early vote, absentee vote, but whatever you do—vote.

Was the handler for one of the most beloved mascots—felt like the Yellow Jacket’s personal secret service. Pride parades really have the best energy. 🌈
