The mood will be mellow and melodic when Park Hills Circle takes the stage at PravdaFest! The newest addition to the @pravdarecords roster, @parkhillscirclemusic is the atmospheric indie project of Maris Maeve O’Tierney, an Alaskan-Irish singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist currently based in Chicago. Her debut album All of a Sudden was released in July, and features colorful stacked vocal harmonies, warm synths, ethereal fingerstyle guitar, and soaring saxophone. Park Hills Circle songs evoke the ambience and vocal colors of Kate Bush and Enya, alongside the storytelling and songwriting craft of Sufjan Stevens and Joni Mitchell. Hear these serene songs for yourself at PravdaFest, Sept 12 at @fitzgeraldsnightclub ! by @pravdafest

They released two albums on @pravdarecords : Push It Nationwide in 2005 and Comeback Special in 2008. The band is reuniting for a special performance next Saturday at @fitzgeraldsnightclub - get your tickets now for a hard rocking homecoming! 🎶 by @pravdafest

Punk will prevail when @theeffigies take the stage at PravdaFest! Formed in 1980, this Chicago-based group was one of the defining bands of the first wave of punk and hardcore. While they drew inspiration from post-punk, hardcore and metal, they have always maintained their punk roots. Their music embodies individuality, egalitarian ideals, and the power of a committed supportive community.
