🛳️Utopia of the Seas - quick weekend getaway to Bahamas. #cruiselife by @praying_mantis
Here’s what we did: Day 1 - ran for our life on the high line when we thought the tour boat was about to leave… just for us to get there and sit for another 30 minutes (sorry Bri 😅) 📍 Brooklyn Bagel 🥯, high line, boat tour, Hudson Yards, Magnolia Bakery, boba xing fu tang, Chelsea Market (noodle place), the Pigeon, and Hutaoli (was a vibe) Day 2 - Times Square and broadway show 📍 Egg lab, Ten Thousand Coffee (12/10), Joe’s Pizza 🍕, Bryant Park (12/10 because all the Christmas booths were open and NOT crowded. I had to ask one vendor if he was even open 😆 typically during Christmas it’s a long wait), Times Square, mokafé, Central Park rooftop (20/10), Hadestown with the singer the girls wanted to see - apparently he wasn’t supposed to be there but he extended his time so I was happy that they were happy, Lillie’s (flower restaurant- I am a stickler for places that are aesthetically decorated, but then the food lacks, BUT this place was a 10/10 for both decor and food. Our server was super chill, too.), Angelina bakery, then Times Square one more time for the midnight show. Day 3 - soho and Korea town 📍Little Hen 🫖 (100/10), bibliotheque ☕️, inter_iam interactive museum, cafe2by2 (0/10 this place was lacking flavor and the drinks were super sour…. Idk maybe we went on a bad day but we threw everything in the trash 🥲 maybe we ordered the wrong things?), Eileen’s cheesecake, some Korean jazz/record player restaurant in Korea town that was superrrrr yummy, hit up woorijip, grace street, and some food hall. Day 4 - homebound Trump turned the city into barricade since he was giving a speech right next to our hotel so spent 30 mins on the phone with our Uber driver and walking down random streets with all our luggage trying to find each other since many roads were blocked. Once we found each other we were laughing but then I mentioned the good ole “man…. I really hope we don’t miss our flight back home….” That man put that lil mini van into overdrive and got us to the airport 20 mins earlier than what the gps had said 🥹 we tipped him really good #forthepeople 📍Maman, mure and grand, airport by @praying_mantis
