Our Roomba Pickles got an advanced copy of @silversummerlovers’ debut album DIE OF LOVE and says that it sucks! Ch’yeah! Right! Pretty rich coming from a vacuum cleaner!

All jokes aside, we’ll be releasing DIE OF LOVE at THE SUMMER BALL 2026 at @theivymankato on June 20! The theme is GLITZ! GLITTER! GLAMOUR!: A SILVER SCREEN AFFAIR! It’s an homage to the dramatic and over-the-top essence of Old Hollywood and its inspiration on the album. Maybe that’s why the robot didn’t like it—the drama was too much!!

@mathirr designed the album artwork and it’s just beautiful! @catstarprincess designed The Summer Ball flyer based on a @bailey_jburg photo from last year’s show. We can’t wait for the photo ops at THE SUMMER BALL 2026!

The Summer Ball began as The Spring Formal in 2022. We’ve played on rooftops and starlit fields, turned the @katoballroom into a roller rink, and this year @silversummerlovers will be releasing their debut album DIE OF LOVE at Mankato’s new and beautifully renovated performance space, @theivymankato. We hope to see you on June 20 for THE SUMMER BALL 2026! by @preciousmetalsrecords
