Every putt deserves the same focus and attention regardless of length or score. This 6 foot Birdie putt was relatively flat with 1/2 cup of left to right movement. The greens were rolling a bit slow so keeping the speed up was the primary objective once the start line was established.

Always nice to back up a good approach shot with a solid putt.

Once solid stroke technique has been established, to lower your scores, spend a significant amount of time practicing lag putting. We teach specific methods to help you get the long putts close. Becoming a reliable lag putter takes pressure off your game and keeps a good round going.

Greens rolling quick at 12+ but that speed is cool with Brett Drewitt as he calmly jars the long birdie putt at Tributary Golf Club in Driggs Idaho.

Brett, a PGA Tour veteran and Korn Ferry Tour winner is a short game specialist and will be teaching short game sessions in Utah County / Salt Lake County during the week of September 27th. Reach out to schedule a session with Brett if you'd like to improve your chipping, pitching and sand game.

10 feet for birdie. Playing in the afternoon following an outside event that morning. Due to the morning traffic the greens were a little tracked up but this putt held its line. It's always nice to back up a good drive and approach shot with a quality putt.

Had the privilege recently of speaking with the UVU Women's Golf team. Thanks to Coach Juli Erikson and Coach Kimshil Pinegar for this opportunity.

The Lady Wolverines started the season off strong by winning the team title at the Wolverine Invitational at Talons Springs GC. It came down to the final holes but UVU played tough down the stretch to beat the University of Wyoming by 2 strokes in the 10 team field.

Been offline for a couple of weeks traveling to Greece, Turkey and Italy. Did pick up a putter long enough to win the glow in the dark miniature golf tournament on the cruise ship. New found appreciation for the challenges of putting on a moving ship with the wind and waves in pretty much total darkness.

Excited to get back to teaching amazing putting students. Packed schedule ahead with the HS boys season in full swing and fall college tournaments now happening.

Emma Hill demonstrating ideal technique on this left to right breaking midrange putt. The green was slower than what golfers most often play so Emma concentrated on making positive contact on the ball to minimize bouncing and wobbling. Emma had adjusted her mental target focal point to keep the putt from coming up short which is often the case with slow greens. Tremendous job all around.

Building confidence one stroke at a time. This was actually a pretty technical putt. 8 feet, downhill, right to left break. Not a gimmie for sure but Noah made it look easy.

Dialing in the distance on this hole is a huge challenge. Severely downhill, over the Jordan River and the wind seems to always be swirling. Was able to get the approach shot pin high leaving a 13 foot downhill putt. Super fun to see the ball disappear into the cup.

What do you think is the most challenging par 3 hole in the state of Utah?
