🌟 West African Restaurant in London 🌟 Papi’s Grill ✨ @papisgrillrestaurant 📍 New Cross, London 🇬🇧 I absolutely love West African food, so when I came across Papi’s Grill, I knew I had to try it - and it didn’t disappoint! What we ordered: 🍽️ 1/2 Chicken Suya with Rice & Coleslaw £16.50 🍽️ Asun (Lamb in Peppered sauce) £13 🍽️ Sautéed Prawns £13 🍽️ Tozo (Beef) Suya £14 🍽️ BBQ Chicken Wings £11 🍽️ Chips £4.50 🍽️ Fried Plantain £6 🍽️ Corn on the Cob £3 🍸 Margarita £12 🍹 Pina Colada £14 I absolutely loved the food here. It was delicious, and although it was spicy, it wasn’t overpowering - there was the perfect level of heat to complement the rest of the flavours. SOUL FOOD IN LONDON 🦞🍗 🧇 🌟TRAP KITCHEN @trapkitchen 📍Camden, London 🇬🇧 I had been wanting to try Trap Kitchen for ages and I finally got round to going in the summer when I won a @camdenist giveaway! All of the seafood we had (lobster, prawns & snow crab) was cooked and seasoned to perfection 👌🏾 The chicken wings were super juicy🤤 and all of the sides we had were banging 😍 This was honestly a 10/10 meal and I enjoyed it so much, I went back again 2 weeks later 😂 There are various combo meals on the menu, but id say it works out to about £40-50 per person. 🌟 London’s Favourite Indian Restaurant 🇮🇳 Finally tried Pahli Hill Bandra Bhai, and it’s now my favourite Indian restaurant in London 🤍 Pahli Hill Bandra Bhai @pahlihillbandrabhaiuk 
📍 Fitzrovia, London 🇬🇧 This restaurant has been on my list for ages. My husband and I have high standards when it comes to Indian food (me especially), and this exceeded them. We basically ordered the whole menu and not a single dish disappointed. It has the vibe of two restaurants in one: upstairs is Pahli Hill, a posh residential feel, and downstairs is Bandra Bhai, styled like a smuggler’s den. The menu is inspired by Mumbai’s mix of cultures 🇮🇳 My favourite dishes were: 🌟 Butter chicken kothu
🌟 Sweet potato chaat
🌟 Tandoor lamb chops
🌟 Chicken tikka 🌟 Homestyle chicken curry 🌟 Masala chai

@assenheims NEW red sauce 🔴 📍Assenheim’s — branches all over London, a cult favourite lunch in the City @gresansu and I got an early taste of their brand new red sauce dropping next week... and I think it might be better than the classic green sauce 👀 ⭐ Tastes like a romesco sauce crossed with Turkish chilli sauce, but milder/less spicy, so it works for everyone 💷 their boxes range from £10.50-13 for a seriously generous portion 💪 Known as the original “gym bro” high protein lunch 😂 I’m defo switching to red sauce from now on. MC Escher exhibition at Somerset House 👁️ Escher was the first artist I ever studied, back when I was 13, and even all these years later, he’s still one of my favourites. It felt like a full circle moment for me holding my art book up against his actual artwork. His work sits right at the intersection of maths and art, and as someone who’s quite analytical and detail orientated, but also creative, he felt so relatable to me as a young teenager, and I fell in love with his art straight away. The best part though was who I went with. Two of my closest friends, who I’ve known for over 20 years, came with me. Being in front of his art with the same friends I was in those classrooms with felt like such a privilege. It was a lovely reminder of how much I used to love creating art, getting lost in it for hours as a teenager. I don’t make time for it anymore, but this exhibition definitely nudged me to pick up a pencil again soon. Afterwards, we had dinner at @plazakhaogaeng at @arcadelondon, which genuinely felt like I had been transported to Thailand. My wife got married pt. 3 🥂 When @gresansu said she wanted a surprise wedding reception, I thought it was a great idea - and it ended up being perfect 🥰 They invited everyone to their “engagement party,” and after an hour of mingling upstairs at @fare_london , they brought everyone downstairs and revealed they’d secretly gotten married the week before, on their 5th anniversary, by playing their wedding video made by the lovely @themgtedit ❤️ Everyone was dressed up for what they thought was an engagement party, but it had a more relaxed vibe than a formal wedding reception (e.g.no full suits) which meant people were comfortable enough to dance all night 😜 It really was everything you’d want from a wedding reception: plenty of food, an open bar, and a delicious wedding cake by @eatwitharli 🎂 I’m done with the wedding spam now - hope you all enjoyed x taken in FARE by @preetasplate
