Eight years apart, but not a single thing changed. 🥹❤️

Being reunited with you reminded me that some bonds are simply unbreakable, no matter how much time or distance comes between us. You were never just my sister; you were my big sister, my shoulder to cry on, my adviser, my secret keeper, my safe place, and one of the greatest blessings God has ever given me.

You took care of me in ways I can never fully put into words, and being with you again felt like I had never left. If I could ask God for a sister a thousand times, I would still choose you every single time. 🥹❤️

I thank God for you, for the bond we share, and for the beautiful reminder that distance can separate us physically but can never take away the love we have for each other.

For everyone asking why we went 8 years without seeing each other. I left home to study abroad, and I wasn’t able to go back until I finished my bachelor’s. By the time I finally went home, my sister had already left to another country for her bachelor’s, so we basically missed each other. I went on to do my master’s while she continued with her studies, and when I finally finished, we decided to plan our trips together so we could finally reunite and go home together to surprise our mom.
