WIP 🐎❤️

This was an experiment, so I chose a small canvas and just trusted the process. Somehow, it feels incomplete yet… there’s already a story in it.

Exploring contemporary symbolic surrealism with atmospheric, expressive painting. Still figuring out where it’s going :) by @preeyality

The Sea Was Never Quiet 🌊⚡

What happens when an emotion you've held beneath the surface finally refuses to stay there?

In this work, the sea becomes a metaphor for anger—not as something to fear or suppress, but as a force that moves, builds, breaks, and eventually releases itself.

I wanted the water to feel restless and unpredictable, while the flashes of light introduce a strange kind of beauty within the turbulence. The movement, texture, and contrast are intentionally expressive rather than strictly realistic.

For me, this painting is about the tension between containment and release—the moment when something long held beneath the surface finally becomes visible.

The Red Sky 🌕🩸 Moon Stares at the Bleeding Sky
Original acrylic painting on canvas · 4 × 4" | one-of-a-kind

Somewhere between
what is said
and what remains unsaid,
the night changed colour.
The waves returned.
The moon stayed.
Nothing was explained.
Perhaps it didn't need to be.

🌅 The Last Light - Original acrylic painting on canvas 5×5" | one of a kind

There’s something about the light
just before it disappears..
how it touches everything a little softer,
how the waves seem to slow down,
how you find yourself staying
for just a little longer.

Maybe some moments
don’t ask to be understood.

Maybe they’re simply meant
to be noticed. ✨

🌙 Moonlit Whispers

Artist: Priyanka Chitipiralla
Artwork Type: Original Painting
Medium: Mixed Media with Metallic & Textural Elements on Canvas
Dimensions: 4 × 4 inches (10.2 × 10.2 cm)
Year: 2026
Style: Contemporary Symbolic Abstraction

Note :)

Somewhere between the sea and the sky exists a world that cannot be seen in daylight.

I created this little universe from the things I find difficult to put into words..quiet emotions, distant dreams, fleeting moments, and the feeling of being somewhere between remembering and letting go.

I wanted the gold to feel like something precious discovered in the darkness, while the silver surrounding it leaves enough space for the viewer to create their own story.

Perhaps the painting doesn't need to tell you what it means.
Perhaps it only needs to whisper.

This watercolor painting taught me the true meaning of patience. 🖌️

It may look simple at first glance, but trust me.. it tested my patience from start to finish. I became so immersed in the process that I accidentally dipped my paintbrush into my bowl of soup instead of my water jar. 🙂‍↕️

A few tiny mistakes still found their way into the painting. With watercolor, even a few seconds of carelessness can make a noticeable difference. It's a beautiful yet unforgiving medium that demands patience, precision, and 100% focus, especially when painting detailed anime artwork.

Every painting teaches me something new, and this one reminded me that patience is just as important as skill.

The ocean stirs, but the sky stays still | Mindfulness Ocean Painting

The stirring ocean represents the restless, emotional, and unpredictable side of life.. constantly shifting and reacting to outside forces. In contrast, the still sky represents our inner consciousness or a higher perspective, remaining vast, undisturbed, and peaceful despite the turbulence below. Ultimately, it serves as a visual meditation on mindfulness, reminding us that even when the circumstances around us are in motion, we can always find a reservoir of absolute stillness within ourselves.

As a beginner in watercolor painting, I consider this piece a failed artwork, yet I still wanted to share it🙂‍↕️ Even though it didn't turn out the way I envisioned, I fully own both the artwork and the process behind it🙂‍↔️ Every mistake taught me something valuable, and each lesson helped me grow as an artist🙃
I've learned to appreciate mistakes because they are part of the journey toward mastering any craft🫡 They shape the process, build resilience, and make improvement possible🤫 So today, I'm happy to share one of my "failed" artworks.. 🤭😋✨

Sketching is more than a hobby to me.. it’s a part of who I am. It helps me detach from superficial things and reconnect with my inner self. Through it, I express, communicate, learn, and grow. There’s an unexplainable energy in the process that helps me embrace and love myself more confidently. by @preeyality
