Details of a large project completed earlier this year.
5 separate works spanning almost 200 metres outside arrivals at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.

Thank you @schiphol @straatmuseum and @welcometowink for the opportunity to create these semi-permanent pieces in my (second) favourite city.

More info and full photos soon… by @pref_id

In my many conversations with @pref_id over the last year, what ultimately we speak about is letters. How to dismantle them, how to enhance them, how to make language and the letter more important, but also, how to evolve them.

In his new show, Life Sentences, opening this Thursday at Start Gallery at @secretwalls.studios in Los Angeles, the artist has developed a series of paintings and ceramic sculptures that bend letter forms to their absolute maximum without them losing a character. He gives words personality. —@epricco
