I see the true form of Shakti in my Maa—a person who embodies quiet resilience, grace, and an unconditional heart. She is the steady anchor who turns life’s everyday storms into safe havens through her selfless, comforting warmth. 🌸

When life tests me or heavy days catch me off guard, she is always right there—holding my hand without ever making me feel weak. Whether it was walking me through my postpartum struggles or being my daily pillar of support today, she stands by me with a kind of love that never asks me to pretend or explain every tear.

Every single day, she shows up with her quiet, reassuring presence—stepping in effortlessly, wrapping our home in warmth, and completely rewriting every stereotype of an in-law relationship. She constantly proves that motherhood isn't bound by biology, but by pure empathy, patience, and grace.

This photograph is close to my heart because it captures something so simple yet so rare, my father and me, matching stripes, striking the same silly pose, laughing at absolutely nothing in particular. He's never been the kind to say big emotional things out loud, but he'll happily coordinate outfits and make faces at the camera just to see me smile, and that quiet, playful love has always spoken louder than words ever could. Years from now, I won't remember the "perfect" pictures nearly as much as I'll remember this one, two people who look nothing alike, wearing the exact same stripes, completely in sync. 💙📸 by @prek.rocks
