One of the greatest medicines in this world is laughter. Truly. It’s so underrated, yet it’s one of the most healing forces we have and most of us don’t practise it enough!! We walk around thinking that being serious makes us important, that stiffness somehow equals success. But honestly… society looks so tense, rigid, controlled. People forget that the sexiest thing on the human body isn’t abs, boobs, fake lips or a big booty — it’s a smile!! 😃 A real one. The kind that lights someone up from the inside. And the greatest sound? Pure, unapologetic laughter. I love seeing people smile, it melts my heart sounds cheesy but it’s true. I love watching a group of people laugh. I could watch strangers laughing all day, their joy makes me happy. That sound should be the world’s Anthem!! Call me weird, but seeing people smiling, laughing, and just enjoying themselves gives me a peace you can’t buy. Hey friends and family ❤️

I just wanted to share this story with you all.

Many of you are already familiar with what happened, as I’ve previously shared my experience.

I want to sincerely thank A Current Affair especially Erin Ramsay for taking the time to listen to my story and help bring awareness to what I’ve been through.

My hope is that by speaking out and sharing my experience, I can help prevent others from finding themselves in a similar situation or being taken advantage of.

Sometimes speaking up isn’t just about seeking justice for yourself, but about protecting others from going through the same experience.

Today was the Father’s Day celebration at my daughter’s school.

It meant getting up early, rushing around and trying to get everyone ready—but I didn’t take a single moment of it for granted.

Seeing how excited my daughter was to have me there reminded me just how precious these moments are.

I’m also deeply aware that many loving fathers don’t get the same amount of time with their children. Sometimes circumstances, distance, separation, work, loss or decisions outside their control make these moments difficult—or even impossible.

To every father reading this: your value is not measured by how many school events you attend, how many nights your child sleeps under your roof or how many photos you get to share.

Fatherhood is also found in the love you carry, the effort you make, the lessons you pass on and the way you continue showing up—in whatever way you can.

Today, I feel incredibly grateful for this moment with my daughter. And I also want to acknowledge every dad who loves his children deeply, including those doing it from a distance or through circumstances others may never understand.

Your love matters. Your presence matters. And so do you.

I will always be grateful and appreciative that we live in a time where platforms like Instagram and Facebook exist.

People often focus on the negatives of social media, but for me, one of the greatest gifts is being able to capture and share the most beautiful moments of my life—not just with the world, but with my future self.

To be able to look back 10 years and relive the moments that changed me, shaped me, and helped make me the man I am today is something I’ll never take for granted.

This video of my daughter laughing… I’ve watched it a million times. I’m honestly not even exaggerating. Every single time it reminds me of what truly matters.

I’m so grateful that a simple video can become a memory that lives on forever. Long after today has passed, this moment will still exist—a little piece of our family’s history that can be revisited over and over again.

Feeling a bit chesty? Run down? Looking for a natural immune boost? 🍵💛

This time of year, our children always seem to pick up the runny noses and chesty coughs. Over the years, this has become our family’s go-to warm drink.

We call it The Immune Booster.

Ingredients:
🍯 6 cups filtered water
🧄 5 cloves garlic, crushed
🌿 4 cardamom pods
✨ 1 teaspoon turmeric
🌶️ ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
🍃 6 fresh curry leaves
🫚 Fresh grated ginger (as much as you like)
🍯 Honey, to taste

Method:

1. Add everything except the honey to a pot.
2. Bring to the boil.
3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Pour into a cup, stir in honey to taste, and enjoy.

It’s warming, comforting, and one of our favourite homemade drinks during the colder months. ❤️

While this isn’t a cure or a replacement for medical treatment, it’s a comforting drink that our family enjoys whenever we’re feeling under the weather.
