Fascial training is trending, but without a system, techniques lack a targeted purpose for the person in front of you.

For 25+ years, I’ve systematically loaded eccentrics, fascia, and tendons. In Optimizing Fascial Performance, learn how to properly assess and progress toward true optimization in life, sport, and fitness.

Load fascia. Strengthen tendons. Improve circulation and lymph dynamics. Decrease joint pain and build injury resilience.

**🌎 World First Shoulder Complex?**

I think it might be.

Most shoulder training is built around pressing heavier. This complex was built to create strong, explosive, resilient shoulders while supporting rotator cuff health and long-term performance.

🔥 **Warm-Up**
• Cable Half-Kneeling Reverse Fly → Press × 2

⚡ **Complex**
• 1A. Half-Kneeling 1-Arm Landmine Posterior Press
• 1B. Sandbag Clean → Posterior Power Press

✅ Rotator cuff strengthening
✅ Posterior shoulder dominant ( but stressful on anterior capsule if kyphotic posture is present )
✅ Multi-planar strength & power
✅ Athletic shoulder durability
✅ Performance not rehab based

I've never seen these movements paired together in a shoulder complex like this.

**Have you? Is this a World First? 🌎**

🚨 Before your next kettlebell swing, deadlift, burpee, or heavy squat...Ask yourself:

Have you checked your spiral line asymmetry?

Most people load movement dysfunction before they load strength. If your spiral line is pulling harder on one side, your body may compensate through:

✅ Foot collapse
✅ Knee drift
✅ Hip shift
✅ Rotational instability
✅ Low back overload

Then you wonder why heavy functional training feels awkward, uneven, or painful.

The problem isn't always weakness. Sometimes it's an asymmetry issue disguised as a strength issue.

Assess first.
Address second.
Load & progress third.

Because adding weight to dysfunction doesn't create performance - it magnifies it.

Joanne and I are absolutely blown away right now.

Last year we entered the @escapes.ca giveaway.

We didn’t win.

So we did what most travel lovers do... we kept dreaming. We kept following. We kept commenting, sharing, engaging, and enjoying every bit of travel inspiration they put out.

This year, everything changed.

We’ve been selected as THE WINNERS of the Escapes.ca 25th Anniversary Viva la Vida Giveaway, and honestly, we're still trying to process it. 🤯

What makes this even more incredible is learning that they noticed our continued support and connection with the Escapes.ca community over the past year. That means so much to us.

A huge THANK YOU to Daniel, Cristina, and the entire Escapes.ca team for this unbelievable opportunity. We're beyond grateful and cannot wait to experience Puerto Vallarta during Día de Muertos, create unforgettable memories, and share the journey along the way.

Now excuse me while I spend the next 4 weeks counting down the days until Joanne and I are sipping margaritas on a beach in Mexico. 🍹☀️😂

THANK YOU, @escapes.ca. ❤️

Most people don't need a better program. They need a deeper commitment to the principles that have always worked.

80% of the results people are chasing come from mastering the fundamentals, not chasing the latest trend.

Results aren't complicated. Injury prevention isn't luck.

They're the outcome of intelligently programmed, well-managed, highly engaged training.

Master the basics. Earn the result.

OPTIMIZING FASCIAL PERFORMANCE
Most performance systems focus on isolated qualities like strength, mobility, power, and conditioning.

But the body doesn't function in parts.
Performance, recovery, and resilience emerge from the integration of the entire system, and fascia plays a critical role in connecting those pieces together.

In this course, you'll learn a practical three-step framework to:
• Assess movement patterns, force transmission, and compensatory strategies
• Optimize elastic performance, adaptability, and recovery
• Integrate fascial principles with strength & conditioning, motor control, and sports science
The result?
✅ More efficient movement
✅ Better force transfer
✅ Greater adaptability under stress
✅ Enhanced resilience in life and sport
This isn't about adding another technique to your toolbox.

It's about developing a deeper understanding of how the body organizes, transfers force, and adapts to load, giving you a complete system for human performance.

Assess. Optimize. Integrate.
A practical framework for coaches, therapists, and performance professionals who want to build resilient humans, not just better athletes.

To BOSU or Not To BOSU?

I'll probably lose a few strength coaches here...

The BOSU isn't the problem. The way most people use it is.

No, standing on a squishy dome won't magically make you faster, stronger, or more athletic.

But if you're an athlete chasing elite performance, the BOSU can be one of the most underutilized warm-up tools in the gym.

Why?

Because elite movement requires more than force production...it requires stability, symmetry, coordination, and the ability to own every position before expressing power.

The BOSU exposes compensation patterns instantly.

• Left-to-right imbalances
• Foot and ankle instability
• Hip control deficits
• Poor movement awareness

Instead of using it as the workout, use it to prepare for the workout.

Stability before strength.
Control before chaos.
Position before power.

The best athletes in the world don't just produce force. They mobilize it, absorb it, control it, and redirect it.

That's where strategic BOSU work shines.

Not a circus act. A diagnostic tool. A preparation tool. An elite performance tool.

Hot take:

BOSU training isn't bad. Using it for the wrong purpose is.

Curious where the experts land on this...

Does instability training belong in elite warm-ups when the goal is improving symmetry, stability, and movement quality before force production?

Or should the BOSU stay out of athletic performance altogether?

Team BOSU or Team Never BOSU?

👇 Let's debate.

SPRINTING IS ANTI-AGEING TRAINING. ⚡

Not because it stops the clock - because it trains the physical qualities ageing tries to steal first:

⚡ Speed
⚡ Power
⚡ Fast force production
⚡ High-threshold muscle recruitment

In masters sprinters followed for 10 years, researchers found NO SIGNIFICANT deterioration in muscle-fibre size, fibre-type composition, muscle thickness or capillarisation.

Another decade-long study found no significant increase in fibre-type grouping among masters sprinters who continued training.

This is why strength training alone isn’t the complete conversation.

Strength gives you force, but SPRINTING GIVES U THE RAPID FORCE THAT PREVENTS MAJOR TISSUE TRAUMA.

After 50, don’t strength train ...TRAIN TO USE IT QUICKLY.

Save this. Share it. And never stop training your speed.
